Follow these instructions carefully to ensure correct fitment and operation.
STEP 1
STEP 5
• Disconnect the negative battery terminal on
battery located in the trunk. Place a rag over the
trunk latch so the lid wont latch with the battery
disconnected.
STEP 7

• Remove the stock exhaust manifold bolts (from
top of the engine compartment) and remove the
exhaust manifolds from underneath the vehicle.
Remove the stock gaskets and make sure the
head surface is clean of any debris.
• Remove the oil cap and the engine cover.
Replace the oil cap so no debris will enter the
engine.
• Remove the exhaust flange nuts for mid-pipes
on both sides. Disconnect the oxygen sensor
plugs on both sides at the back of the engine.
STEP 3
• Disconnect the Mass Air Sensor Plug. Loosen
the clamp on the air inlet tube at the throttle
body. Disconnect the plastic breather hose from
the tube at the passenger side valve cover.
Remove the 2 nuts that secure the air box.
Remove the inlet tube and air box.
STEP 4
• Remove the spark plugs and spark plug wires.
Remove the dip stick and tube.
STEP 6
• Lift the vehicle as high as possible.
STEP 8
• Unhook the rear oxygen sensors. Loosen the
exhaust clamps at the rear of the mid-pipe
assembly, slide to release the mid-pipe
assembly and remove from the vehicle.
STEP 9
• Install the supplied oxygen sensor wire
extensions to the plugs at the rear of the engine.
Route them down to back of the bell housing.
