73mm Throttle Body

STEP 1

 Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

STEP 2

 Unplug the electrical connector from the side

cover of the throttle body. Pull the black wire

harness mount out of the hole in the throttle

body.

 Disconnect the (2) breather hoses attached to

the inlet tube.

 Loosen the clamps at each end of the inlet tube,

at the throttle body and at the air filter box.

Remove the inlet tube and set it aside.

STEP 5

 Unbolt the throttle body from the intake manifold

and remove.

STEP 6

 Wipe off the rubber o-ring gasket as it will be

reused with the BBK throttle body.

Just open the clamp all the way up before installing. Trim off the 2 small tabs on the top of the stock rubber inlet tube so it will fit all the way onto the BBK throttle body. A little WD40 or light grease may help this process. STEP 9   With the inlet tube installed and the clamps tight, reconnect the breather hoses.
