Stop the Strings!
Sometimes Fabri-Tac can form strings of glue when you apply it
and pull the bottle away from the fabric. To avoid this, use a
snapping motion to break them. Another trick is to apply a small
amount of petroleum jelly to the tip of the bottle. The glue will not
bond to that and stings can’t form. Don’t apply too much and
remember that you may have to reapply from time to time.
Fabri-Tac Washing Instructions
Fabrics bonded with Fabri-Tac can be machine washed. For best
results, wash using cold, gentle cycle or hand wash if necessary.
If possible, turn garment inside out. Hang dry or tumble dry, no
heat. Drying adhered items with heat may cause bond to stiffen or
loosen. If necessary, iron according to fabric care instructions.
Avoid heating bonded areas with iron. Do not dry-clean.
