Winding Route
With this option a route can be selected
that is specially tailored to the needs of
the motorcycle. The calculated routes
can sometimes be considerably further
and also last longer than with other route
options! Three different settings are
possible, which can vary considerably
from each other depending on the route.

menu item
Slightly more winding & longer
Motorways, multi-lane highways and
town thoroughfares are somewhat
avoided and correspondingly smaller
roads are selected instead. However, on
longer routes, road sections can quite
possibly even pass via motorways or
multi-lane highways.
Considerably more winding & longer
Motorways, multi-lane highways and
town thoroughfares are avoided and
correspondingly smaller roads are
selected instead. However, on longer
routes, road sections can quite possibly
even pass via multi-lane highways or
through towns. Motorways should
hardly be used any more.
Extremely long & winding
Motorways, multi-lane highways and
town thoroughfares are very greatly
avoided and correspondingly smaller
roads are selected instead. The
calculated route will only pass via
motorways or multi-lane highways in
exceptional cases.
Avoiding particular types of road
After pressing the button
Avoid you can
exclude various types of road (e.g.
motorways, ferries and toll roads), from
the route calculation.
You can set one of the following options
for each of these road types.
> Confirm your selection in the
Route
options
window ny pressing the OK
button.
Option Meaning
Permitted With this option, the
road type in question is
included in calculating
the route.
Prohibited With this option, the
road type in question is
not included in
calculating the route.
