Headset Mode
You can connect a headset equipped with
Bluetooth® wireless technology to your
navigation device. The voice outputs and
warning alerts are then not output via
the integrated loudspeaker but via the
connected headset.
Below is a description of how to estab-
lish the connection.
> In the Settings menu, press the
Head-
set Settings
button.
> In the following menu you can switch
Bluetooth® on and off, and select your
headset from a list.
The connection status is displayed in the
list of available devices.
> Press the button to display additio-
nal functions.
You can perform the following actions:
Connect a device
Disconnect the connection to
a
connected device
Delete this device from the list
Delete all devices from the list
Telephone Mode
Similarly as described in the chapter
Headset Mode, a telephone can also be
connected to your navigation device. Any
missed calls will then be displayed for
you. Furthermore, you can also display
SMS messages with selected devices.
However, this function is not supported
by all mobile phones.

Note:
A headset that has already been
connected once is reconnected auto-
matically after the navigation device is
switched on. If the headset is first swit-
ched on later, then it might not be pos-
sible anymore to establish a connection.
In this case, the navigation device
should either be switched off briefly or
the headset should be reconnected ma-
nually.
