PTY (programme type)
Specific types of programme, such as sport, pop music, clas-
sical music etc. can be selected using the PTY function.
The PTY is transmitted by the RDS station, provided that the
broadcaster has this function installed. The selected transmit-
ter programme type can be displayed or a search for a specific
PTY transmitter can be performed.
