Set up Remote

About delivering Food Doses with the IDD:

If you do not have the Remote at meal times, you can still give

insulin using your IDD. Each squeeze of the IDD side buttons will

deliver a preset number of units.

Note: You might need to squeeze the IDD side buttons more than

once to get your full Food Dose insulin. The maximum units per

dose is 30 units.

WARNING:

Entering incorrect insulin delivery settings

could lead to low blood sugar (Hypoglycemia) or high blood

sugar (Hyperglycemia). Make sure you set the units per

button press that your Healthcare Provider prescribed.
