1.1 Checking your insertion site regularly

In this section: This section explains the issues to look for
when checking your insertion site.
As part of your daily routine, check the insertion site area around
the IDD at least once per day. Each time you change the IDD, check
the actual insertion site after removing the empty IDD.
Check for signs of an infection or adverse reaction, such as:
In addition, check for signs of insulin leakage by looking for
wetness around the insertion site.
WARNING:
If you notice any signs of infection or leakage:
1. Replace IDD with new IDD at a dierent site location.
2. Check your blood glucose level. Contact your Healthcare
Provider and follow their instructions.
