1.1 Replacing an IDD
CAUTION: When changing IDD, and
before bedtime:
• Avoid changing your IDD before bedtime or if you will
not be able to test your BG at least 1–2 hours after a
new IDD is placed.
• Before bed, always check that your IDD has insulin to
last through the night.
IMPORTANT: You cannot restart or reuse your IDD
once you have deactivated the device.
In this section:
When “IDD Status Empty,” “IDD
Status Expired,” or “Deactivate
IDD” appears on Remote (typically
after 3 days), you must deactivate
and replace the IDD.
Follow the instructions in this
section to deactivate and remove
your IDD.
