Requirements for the place
of use
For safe and trouble-free operation
of the appliance, the installation
location must satisfy the following
requirements:
Place the appliance on a dry,

at and heat-resistant surface.
Do not place the appliance in a

hot, wet or very humid environ-
ment or in the vicinity of inam-
mable materials.
Select a location that does not

allow children to reach the hot
surfaces of the appliance.
The mains socket must be eas-

ily accessible to enable quick
disconnection of the appliance
from the electric circuit in the
event of an emergency.
Electrical connection
For safe and trouble-free operation
of the appliance, the following in-
structions on the electrical connec-
tion must be observed:
Before connecting the appli-

ance, compare the connection
data (voltage and frequency)
on the rating plate with those of
your mains power supply. The
data must correspond in order
to avoid damage to the appli-
ance. If in doubt, ask your elec-
trical appliance retailer.
The mains socket must be pro-

tected by at least a 16 A fuse.
Ensure that the mains lead is
■
undamaged and is not laid over
sharp edges.
