7.2 Calibration Interval
We suggest a calibration interval of one year. If the instrument is used very often or
if it is used under rough conditions we recommend shorter intervals. If the instru-
ment is only occasionally used the calibration interval can be extended to 3 years.
The instruments are calibrated according to PTB standard using a standard illumi-
nant lamp at 2856 K color temperature.
7.3 Replacement of Battery
If the symbol "" is displayed, the battery must be replaced.
Prior any replacemet of battery always respect safety measures as described
in section 3.0.
• Switch of instrument
• Loosen the three screws on the instrument rear
• Lift the battery case cover
• Remove the discharged battery
• Insert the new battery
Please refer to the description on the bottom of the battery case for correct
layout of batteries.
• Close battery case, righten the screws. The instrument is now operational.
Please consider your environment when you dispose of your one-way batte-
ries or accumulators. They belong in a rubbish dump for hazardous waste.
In most cases, the batteries can be returned to their point of sale.
Please, comply with the respective valid regulation regarding the return, re-
cycling and disposal of used batteries and accumulators.
