PRODUCT INFORMATION
BEHR® Transparent Waterproong Wood Finish gives wood the protection it needs while still showcasing its full natural beauty.
This 100% acrylic formula seals out water and blocks the sun’s harmful UV rays for up to two years on decks and up to four years on
fences and siding. It’s available in 3 pre-mixed colors, so you can get the look you want while preserving your valuable investment.

• Follow spraying immediately with a pad, back brushing,
or back rolling for a uniform appearance.
• Work in small sections lightly saturating the surface and
immediately back-brush or use pad applicator to eliminate
puddling; remove excess and evenly distribute the nish.
Maintain a wet edge when applying.
• 2 coats required (must apply second coat thinner than
the rst coat)
• For optimum performance, coat all six sides of wood.
SURFACE PREPARATION:
The following steps and products are recommended
for best results: If you use a product such as
BEHR PREMIUM® Wood Stain & Finish Stripper No. 64 to
remove loose wood bers, latex, oil-based and 100% acrylic
coatings on new weathered wood, then you must use a
product such as BEHR PREMIUM® All-In-One Wood Cleaner
No. 63 to clean, brighten & neutralize wood. If you do not
use a product such as BEHR PREMIUM Wood Stain & Finish
Stripper No. 64, then use a product such as BEHR PREMIUM
All-In-One Wood Cleaner No. 63 to clean and brighten the
wood surface and to remove light to medium stains caused
by mold, mildew, algae & fungus. On new wood, use a
product such as BERH PREMIUM All-In-One Wood Cleaner
No. 63 to remove mill glaze and open the pores of the wood.
Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry before coating. Lightly
sand to remove remaining wood bers/fuzz.
WARNING! If you scrape, sand or remove old paint, you may
release lead dust. LEAD IS TOXIC. Contact the National
Lead Information Center at 1-800-424-LEAD or log on
to www.epa.gov/lead.
CLEAN UP:
Clean all tools and equipment with clean water. For proper
disposal of empty containers and unused product, contact
your household refuse collection service.
CAUTIONS/LIMITATIONS:
• Protect from freezing
• Do not use if rain is expected within 24 hours.
• DO NOT THIN PRODUCT
• Avoid applying stain in direct sunlight or to hot surfaces.
• Test product for color on a small hidden area
before proceeding.
• Over application of stain will lead to surface failure
including peeling & cracking.
• Stained surfaces may become slippery when wet.
• Shelf life under normal conditions is two years
(unopened containers).
• Temperature Range: 40-9F (4.5-3C)
GENERAL INFORMATION:
Warning! Causes eye and skin irritation. Harmful if
swallowed. Wear protective clothing, gloves, eye, and
face protection. Do not eat, drink, or smoke when using
this product. Take o contaminated clothing and wash
it before reuse. Wash hands thoroughly after handling.
Collect spillage and avoid release to the environment.
Dispose of unused, contents, container and other
contaminated wastes in accordance with local, state,
federal and provincial regulations.
First aid: If in eyes: Rinse cautiously with water for
several minutes and remove contacts if present and easy
to do. Continue rinsing and get medical attention if eye
irritation persists. If on skin: Wash with plenty of soap
and water. If swallowed: Rinse mouth and get medical
attention if you feel unwell.
