PRODUCT INFORMATION
BEHR® DRYPLUS® Masonry Waterproofer is a premium interior/exterior paint designed for waterproong porous above or
below grade concrete and masonry surfaces. It is designed to form a strong waterproof barrier to stop water inltration while
providing a smooth, decorative nish.
RECOMMENDED USES:
Ideal for above or below grade Basement Walls, Retaining Walls, Garage Walls, Foundations and Landscape Walls. Use on
properly prepared coated and uncoated interior/exterior surfaces such as:
• Masonry • Concrete • Concrete Block/CMU
• Brick • Fiber Cement • Stucco

method and substrate porosity. Does not include the loss of
material from spraying.

Thinning: DO NOT THIN. Product is formulated for use at
package consistency only.
Dry Time: @ 77°F & 50% RH
To Touch: 1 hour

Full Cure: 7 – 14 days
Dry times are temperature, humidity, and lm thickness
dependent.
SURFACE PREPARATION:
New or Unpainted Surfaces: New concrete must cure for
a minimum of 30 days. Test for loose, aking concrete by
pressing a piece of masking or cellophane tape at various
places, then pull it o with an abrupt action. If the tape does
not pull the concrete from the surface, it can be painted. If
the existing concrete is removed, the loose concrete should
be removed down to a sound substrate.
For below grade application: All holes or cracks must be
properly patched with a fast setting hydraulic cement.
For above grade application: Remove mildew stains
with a mildew stain removing product. All surfaces must
be clean and free of dirt, dust, eorescence and oil. Clean
surface with a product such as a muriatic acid etcher or with
mechanical means. Follow all label instructions.
Previously Painted Surfaces: BEHR DRYPLUS Masonry
Waterproofer provides best results when applied to bare
or untreated surfaces. PREVIOUSLY PAINTED SURFACES
IN GOOD, REPAINTABLE CONDITION MAY BE PAINTED
WITH A PRODUCT SUCH AS BEHR DRYPLUS MASONRY
WATERPROOFER No. 875, HOWEVER, BEHR WILL NOT
GUARANTEE THE RESULTS. Test for loose, aking paint by
pressing a piece of masking or cellophane tape at various
places, then pull it o with an abrupt action. If the tape does
not pull the paint from the surface, it can be painted. If the
existing paint is removed, the loose paint should be removed
down to a sound substrate by wire brushing or sanding. For
Interior or Exterior application; remove deteriorated coating
prior to application. Follow all preparation instructions
under “New or Unpainted Surfaces” above.
WARNING! If you scrape, sand or remove old paint, you
may release lead dust. LEAD IS TOXIC. EXPOSURE TO LEAD
DUST CAN CAUSE SERIOUS ILLNESS, SUCH AS BRAIN DAMAGE,
ESPECIALLY IN CHILDREN. PREGNANT WOMEN SHOULD
ALSO AVOID EXPOSURE. Wear a NIOSH-approved respirator
to control lead exposure. Clean up carefully with a HEPA
vacuum and a wet mop. Before you start, nd out how to
protect yourself and your family by contacting the National
Lead Information Center at 1-800-424-LEAD or log on to
www.epa.gov/lead.

CLEANUP/DISPOSAL:
Clean all tools and equipment with warm, soapy water. Do
not dispose of this product down a drain. If spilled, contain
material and remove with an inert absorbent. Dispose of
contaminated absorbent, container and unused product
in accordance with all current federal, state and local
regulations. For recycling or disposal of empty containers,
unused product and soiled rags, contact your household
refuse collection service.
