BEHR® WAX DECORATIVE FINISH
PRODUCT INFORMATION
BEHR® Wax Decorative Finish is designed to work with BEHR Chalk Decorative Paint. It is soft, pliable, low odor and easy to
work with. It enhances the color of chalk nishes, adds a rich satin sheen, and seals and protects the painted surface.
RECOMMENDED USES:
Apply to old or new wood, cast stone, concrete, or even metal surfaces that are painted with BEHR Chalk Decorative Paint.
Do not use on horizontal surfaces subject to foot trac.

APPLICATION:
• After painting the entire surface with BEHR Chalk
Decorative Paint, allow a minimum of two hours to dry.
• Test on a small area rst.
• Use personal protective equipment as required.
• Use a lint-free rag or a natural bristle brush, such as
BEHR Chalk Decorative Wax Brush, to apply the wax.
• Spread the wax evenly over the surface. Focus on
highlighting the best features of the piece by working the
wax into small crevices.
• Allow wax to dry before bung.
• To maintain the quality of the nish, reapply wax as
needed.
CLEAN-UP/DISPOSAL:
Clean all tools with VOC-compliant paint thinner or mineral
spirits immediately after use. Do not dispose of this product
down a drain. If spilled, contain material and remove with
an inert absorbent. Dispose of contaminated absorbent,
container and unused product in accordance with all current
federal, state and local regulations. For recycling or disposal
of empty containers, unused product and soiled rags,
contact your household refuse collection service.
CAUTIONS/LIMITATIONS:
• Keep away from open ames, hot surfaces and sources of
ignition.
• Keep containers tightly closed in a dry, cool and well
ventilated place.
• Do not use on oors.
• Not suitable for outdoor use.
• Shelf life under normal conditions is 12 months unopened
when storage and handling instructions are followed.

FIRST AID: IF SWALLOWED: Do not induce vomiting.
Call physician immediate. IF INHALED: move to fresh
air. IF IN EYES: rinse with water for 20 minutes.
CAUTION: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN – DO NOT
TAKE INTERNALLY.
