EUROCOM Fly Kit
EUROCOM CL-Series Loudspeaker Fly Kit
For all CL-Series product documentation,
theterms “suspension” and “y” both
carry the same meaning: “to elevate
the loudspeaker enclosure above the
groundsurface.”
This Fly Kit contains 2 specially-designed
spacing plates, front and rear,
manufacturedfrom SECC (electro-galvanized
steel). Thesespacing plates may be used to
connect and y two same-size EUROCOM
CL-Series loudspeaker cabinets in a horizontal
array at 45- and 60-degree splayangles.
If mounting the speakers with a down-tilt
greater than 10 degrees, deploy an
additional Fly Kit to fasten the bottom
of the speaker array. This additional
reinforcement will better distribute
the loads on the rigging ttings and
speaker cabinets.
WARNING! EUROCOM
CL-Series rigging ttings can
accept a Working Load Limit
of 100 lbs. / 45.4 kg, with a 10:1 safety
margin. DO NOT subject any single rigging
tting to a load exceeding 100 lbs. / 45.4 kg.
Failure to heed this warning could result in
injury and/or death!
WARNING! Standard
consumer bolts and screws
are not suitable for these
applications and may pose a risk of injury
and death. Use only properly forged
eyeboltsand screws designed for xed
installation applications.
If you plan to install the loudspeaker
cabinets using this Fly Kit, please observe
these guidelines:
Plan the installation correctly,
including loudspeaker
orientation and suspension.
Identify suitable suspension
points in the structure.
Purchase suitable forged
eyebolts designed for xed
installation applications.
Each cabinet must be
suspended from a minimum of
three points.
WARNING! The installer
accepts all responsibility for
following safe installation
practices. Installations should be carried out
only by trained and qualied personnel.
Wefurther strongly recommend that a
licensed and certied professional
structural engineer approve the
mounting design.
WARNING! All threaded
inserts and other rigging
ttings on the loudspeaker
cabinet should remain sealed. If these seals
break or leak air, the reduced integrity of
the loudspeaker cabinet can compromise
low-frequency performance,
introducedistortion, and reduce output.

media and certain types of video monitors.
