STUDIO 50USB/MEDIA 40USB Getting started
Place the monitor speakers at head level,
unobstructed and at equal distances to
the left and right of your
listening position.
Connect the included power cable to the
right monitor. Connect the other end to a
mains outlet properly configured for your
particular model. DO NOT turn the power on yet.
If possible, connec t the right monitor and the other
audio equipment in the system to the same outlet to
avoid ground loops.
Connect the audio source to the inputs of
the right monitor. Balanced XLR or TRS
connections are preferable, if your mixer
or equipment has balanced outputs. You may also
connect the audio outputs from a computer using
the type B USB connector.
Connect the supplied speaker cable from
the right monitor’s speaker output
connector to the left monitor's speaker
input connector.
MEDIA 40USB: Turn the VOLUME knob
on the front of the right monitor to the
fully-down position.
STUDIO 50USB: Turn the INPUT TRIM knob on
the rear panel of the right monitor to the center
(0 dB) position.
Turn on your mixer, computer, or other
audio source, and make sure the volume
is turned down.
Turn on the power on the right monitor
by flipping the rear panel power switch.
Start playing your audio source and
slowly increase the volume until you
reach a comfortable listening level.
MEDIA 40USB: Adjust the VOLUME knob on the
front of the right monitor.
STUDIO 50USB: Adjust the INPUT TRIM knob on the
back of the right monitor if required, or leave it at
the center (0 dB) position.
Coloque los monitores a la altura de su
cabeza, sin que se vean obstaculizados
por nada y formando un triángulo
equilátero entre ellos y su posición de escucha.
Conecte el cable de alimentación
incluido en el monitor derecho. Conecte
el otro extremo de los mismos en una
salida de corriente del voltaje y amperaje adecuado
para estos aparatos. NO ENCIENDA todavía las
unidades. Si es posible, conecte todos los equipos a
la misma salida de corriente o regleta para evitar
problemas de bucles a tierra.
Conecte la fuente de señal audio a las
entradas del monitor derecho.
Es recomendable que use conexiones
balanceadas XLR o TRS, si su mezclador o dispositivo
dispone de salidas balanceadas. También puede
conectar las salidas audio de un ordenador usando
un conector USB de tipo B.
Conecte el cable de altavoz incluido
desde la toma SPEAKER OUTPUT del
monitor derecho a la entrada SPEAKER
INPUT del monitor izquierdo.
MEDIA 40USB: Gire el mando VOLUME
que está en el panel frontal del monitor
derecho a su posición mínima
(tope izquierdo).
STUDIO 50USB: Gire el mando INPUT TRIM que está
en el panel trasero del monitor derecho hasta su
posición central (0 dB).
Encienda el mezclador, ordenador u otra
fuente audio y asegúrese de que su
volumen esté al mínimo.
Encienda el monitor derecho usando
para ello el interruptor de encendido del
panel trasero.
Comience la reproducción de su fuente
audio y lentamente vaya aumentando el
volumen hasta que llegue a un nivel de
escucha cómodo.
MEDIA 40USB: Ajuste el mando VOLUME de la
parte frontal del monitor derecho.
STUDIO 50USB: Si es necesario, ajuste el mando
INPUT TRIM de la parte trasera del monitor derecho,
o déjelo en su posición central (0 dB).
