4 Chemical Resistance
4.1 Metal Casing
The frame and casing material is stainless steel grade 316 / 1.4401 of outstanding
toughness, typically used in food processing, brewery and chemical/petrochemical
equipment.
Stainless steel grade 316 / 1.4401 has excellent corrosion resistance when exposed to
a range of corrosive environments and media.
4.1.1 Touch Screen Surface
The touch screen surface on the panel withstands exposure to the following solvents
without visible change:
Solvents Time
Acetone 10 minutes
Isopropanol 10 minutes
Toluene 5 hours
