On the device
1 Pressl to dial without lifting up the handset. You will
hear a dial tone from the loudspeaker.
2 Enter the desired number using the numeric keypad or
dial a saved entry. The dialling process begins immedi-
ately. Any incorrectly entered numbers can no longer
be changed now.

You can put the handset on mute, if you want to speak to
someone without letting the caller hear the conversation.

1 During a call, press C. Your caller cannot hear any-
more.
2 Press C again to continue with the call.

3 Confirm with OK. Your caller cannot hear anymore.

You can record a telephone conversation. After recording,
the ä button flashes, and you can hear the recording
like a message on the answering machine.

2 Press b again to end the recording.

You can forward calls from the device to registered cordless
telephones. From the cordless telephone, you can forward
calls to the device or to other cordless telephones.

1 During a call, press {.
2 Dial the number of the cordless telephone using the nu-
meric keypad.
3 Hang up.
To all cordless telephones
1 During a call, press {.
2 Hang up.

To the device
1 During a call, press ô Menu.
2 Using [ select
CALL TRANSFER.
3 Confirm with OK.
4 Using [ select
HANDSET 0.
5 Confirm with OK.
6 Press ’, to hang up.
To other cordless telephones
Forwarding a call to DectExistence of several devices is the prerequisite

You can adjust the volume level of the speaker on the
cordless telephone using [ even during a call.

This function is not available if the battery charge of
the cordless telephone is low. Place the cordless tele-
phone into the charging station.
You can switch the hands-free mode on and off by
pressing “ button during a telephone call.
You must inform your caller when recording a tele-
phone conversation.
This function is available only if you have registered
several cordless telephones with your device and the
telephones are within the range of the machine.
