How to connect to a wireless network in the Access Point (AP) list
Therearetwowaysto฀connect฀toanetwork฀that฀appear฀intheAP฀list.
1. Highlightthenetworkname฀byclickingonitonetime,thenclick
the฀Connectbuttononthebottomofthewindow.
or
2. Doubleclickanetworknamethatisinthe฀APlist.฀This฀will
connectyoutothenetworkautomatically.
Note:if฀the฀network฀you฀are฀attempting฀to฀connect฀to฀is฀using฀encryption,฀
you฀will฀be฀prompted฀to฀create฀a฀profile฀with฀the฀encryption฀settings.
How to update the Access Point (AP) list information
Pressing฀theRefresh” (g)buttonwillmakethe฀USBadapterscanthe฀
airforavailablewirelessnetworks.฀Thelist฀will฀beupdated.
Profile Tab: Creating a Profile
UsingProfilesallowsyouto฀saveconfigurationsfor฀differentwireless
networks.For฀instance,ifyou฀useyour฀Adapteratyourplaceof
workandalsoatyour฀home,your฀wirelessnetworksettingsmaybe
differentforeach฀location.Profiles฀letyoustoresettingsforeach
locationandnamethemforeasyidentification.Youcanquickly
changefrom฀oneprofiletoanotherprofilewithouthavingtoremember
the฀particularsettingsofacertainnetwork.
