WhenyoulaunchtheWirelessLANMonitorUtility(theUtility),youwill
bepresentedwiththescreenbelow.Thefollowingsmalliconwillalso
bepresentinyoursystemtray.
Double-clickingontheiconinthesystemtraywillopentheWireless
Monitorwindow.
USING THE BELKIN WIRELESS MONITOR UTILITY
Status Tab
Whentheutilityisonyourdesktop,youcancontrolyourUSBadapter
throughtheutility.Thefirsttabyouwillseeisthe“Status”tab.From
thistabyoucanseeyourcurrentconnectionstatusonthescreen.
Theexamplebelowshowsthatthereisaconnectionbetweenthe
computerandtheWirelessRouter(orAccessPoint)bydisplaying1’s
and0’sbetweenthetwo.Thediagrambelowalsoshowsthereisa
connectionbetweenyourcomputer,theWirelessRouter(orAccess
Point),andtheInternetbydisplaying1’sand0’sbetweentheWireless
Router(orAccessPoint)andtheInternet.
IfthereisnoconnectionbetweenthecomputerandWirelessRouter
(orAccessPoint),an“X”willbedisplayed.Thisisthesameforthe
Internetconnection.
1’s and 0’s displayed here indicates a connection

Thisindicatesthenameoftheprofileyouarecurrentlyusing,ifany.
Ifaquestionmarkappearsnexttothetextinthisbox,itindicates
thatthereisnoprofilesetupforthenetworkyouarecurrently
connectedto.Thenameofthenetworkyouareconnectedtowillbe
displayedinthisboxifnoprofileforthatnetworkexists.
