EdittheAccessControllist(ACL)

The Console Server provides ACL (Access Control List) security where you can specify user

access discretely by individual ports only, instead of all ports.

To edit the ACL:

• Checktheusersonthe“Useradministration”screen.

• Clickthe“Edit”icon.

• Entertheusernameandpassword.

• Selecttheportyouwishtoaccess.

• Clickthe“Submit”button.

Once the user account ACL is set, users can access or make conﬁguration changes to the

authorized serial ports only. Users will not be able to view or conﬁgure the unauthorized

serial ports.
