ATTACHING THE MONITOR ARMS (MA) Attach each Monitor Arm (MA) to the back of your television as shown. Make sure that each Washer (R for M4 or M5 screws, or S for M6 or M8 screws) is placed between the Screw and the Monitor Arm. Don’t place the Washers between the Arms and the television. Use spacers if Monitor Arms (MA) do not fit firmly against the back of the television, such as when the back of the television is curved, contains larger recessed mounting holes, or some other obstruction is in the way. Spacers also provide extra room for cables. The Arms must rest securely on the spacers, and should not be loose.
SELECT THE CORRECT SIZE EXTENSION Four sizes of locking mechanism Extensions (AN, AO, AP, AQ) are included to make the locking mechanism easily accessible after the telvision is mounted. Once the Monitor Arms (MA) are attached to the television, you can select the correct size by inserting them into the locking mechanism shaft on the Monitor Arms (MA). The Extensions should be as close to the bottom of the television as possible without extending past, as shown.
ATTACHING THE EXTENSION Once you have selected the correct Extension (AN, AO, AP, AQ) to use, attach each one to the Monitor Arms (MA) using an Extension Attachment Screw (AR). Insert one Extension Attachment Screw into a hole in the shaft of the Monitor Arm's locking mechanism and tighten with a Phillipshead screwdriver. Note: two holes are provided in the shaft of each locking mechanism to help you achieve the desired length for each Extension.

Mark the right and left side to determine the center of each stud.
DETERMINE HEIGHT LOCATION OF TELEVISION Measure the distance from the bracket holes to the top and bottom of the TV to determine the center mounting position. Measure from the floor up, and make small marks on the wall to help you determine the desired TV height. Using a level, line up the Installation Template (IT) with your pencil markings and tape it into place.

For installations into one stud: drill two holes into the round holes “E”, and “F” in the center of the Template.

Use a level to make sure the Wall Plate is level and make any necessary adjustments. Once straight, tighten all of the Lag Bolts completely (do not over tighten!).

DRILL PILOT HOLES Follow directions on the Installation Template (IT) carefully. Carefully drill four holes using a 5/16" (or 8mm) masonry drill bit in the “A”, “B”, “C”, and “D” locations noted on the Installation Template. Each hole should be at least 3" (76mm) deep. INSTALL THE DECORATIVE END COVERS (EC) Line up the two peg inserts on the back of each End Cover (EC) with the two holes at the ends of the Wall Plate (WP), and press into place. Each End Cover is marked with a "L" (for Left side) or "R" (for Right side). Before attempting to attach the television with the Monitor Arms to the Wall Plate, make sure that the Locking Mechanism is in the unlocked position. Using a screwdriver, turn the Security Screw away from the Wall Plate as shown.

MOUNT THE TELEVISION With the help of an assistant, lift the television and guide the Monitor Arms (MA) onto the Wall Plate (WP) as shown. SECURE THE TELEVISION After the television with the Monitor Arms (MA) is attached to the Wall Plate (WP), lock the Arms into place to prevent removal of the television. To lock the Arms, simply turn the Security Screw using a screwdriver so that the head of the locking mechanism turns toward and under the Wall Plate. Have an assistant hold the television in place while you do this. Carefully attempt to lift one end of the television off the wall mount to ensure it is properly installed.
