Wearing oven mitts, remove grilled food from the cooking plate(s) using a non-metallic utensil. A plastic spatula will help to remove delicate food in one piece.
Panini Maker: Hints for Best Results • • • • • • • • • • • It is customary to prepare panini using a hearty loaf of bread. However, panini made from store-bought sliced breads or rolls can be delicious and simple to prepare. Have fun and experiment with a variety of breads, tortillas, flatbreads, even pitas. For health-conscious cooks, the non-stick coating of the cooking plates assures crisp and delicious toasting without the use of oil or butter.
Waffle Maker Waffle Maker, Bakes 4 Waffles 400ºF, 6 - 7 minutes 1. Install 2 waffle plates. IMPORTANT! The waffle plates are marked “UPPER” and “ LOWER” on the backside of the plates. NOTE: To avoid waffle batter from spilling over, the “BOTTOM” plate has larger overflow channels. 2. Before baking the first waffles of the day, pour a teaspoon of vegetable oil to both the upper and lower cooking plates. Spread with an absorbent kitchen towel and wipe off any excess oil. 3.
Waffle Maker: Hints for Best Results • • • • • • • • • • • Most recipes can be easily halved or doubled. Do not open the Waffle Maker during the first minute of baking or the waffle will separate. Completely cook the waffle before removing. When a waffle is done, the upper lid should lift easily. Lift gently; if it pulls, continue cooking for 30 seconds and test again. When preparing waffle batter, do not over-mix or waffles will be tough. Stir batter only until large lumps of dry ingredients disappear.
Quesadilla Maker: Pressed Tortillas 425ºF, 5 to 7 minutes 1. Install both the lower and upper quesadilla plates. 2. Following recipe directions, turn the temperature control dial to 425ºF. 3. Prepare your quesadillas the appliance heats. Place the first tortilla onto a clean plate. Add approximately 1/2 cup shredded cheese plus no more than 1/4 cup of filling. IMPORTANT: Always prepare quesadillas using previously cooked foods. 4. Cover with the second tortilla. 5.
