16. Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return the heater to an authorized service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment or repair. 17. This heater is not intended for use in any area where there is standing water. Never locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container. 18. Do not use outdoors. 19. This heater is hot when in use.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Remove the heater from the packaging and place on a firm, level surface. To operate, connect to properly polarized outlet only. Match wide blade of plug to wide slot and fully insert. Be sure to plug into a 120V AC, 60Hz outlet. This heater will not operate until the unit is plugged in. When the heater is plugged in a “beep” will sound once. The room temperature will be displayed until the unit is unplugged.
OSCILLATION Your heater is equipped with an oscillation feature. If you want to obtain a wider area of heat circulation, use this oscillating feature. SAFETY FEATURES OF THIS HEATER Thermal Cut-off: If the unit overheats, the heater will temporarily be disabled. When this happens, turn the unit OFF and unplug. Allow it to cool for 30 minutes. Inspect and remove any objects on or adjacent to the heater. Resume use after unit has cooled sufficiently.
TROUBLESHOOTING If your heater fails to operate, please follow these procedures prior to contacting Customer Service: Problem Heater will not power on. Probable Cause Solution Heater is not plugged into a 120V polarized outlet/receptacle. Ensure unit is in OFF position. Plug in unit and attempt to turn on again. The heater fell over and the Tip-Over Switch temporarily shutting off the unit. Turn heater off and unplug.

Ne placez pas l’appareil sur un lit ou toute autre surface non ferme; les ouvertures pourraient être bloquées. N’insérez aucun objet que ce soit dans les ouvertures de la chaufferette. Télécommade DIRECTIVES SUR LE FONCTIONNEMENT Retirez la chaufferette de son emballage et placez-la sur une surface ferme et droite.
MODE Touche Contôle Appuyer 1 fois HIGH (élevé) Puissance (1500W) Appuyer 2 fois AUTO Appuyer 3 fois LOW (faible) Puissance (900W) Pression additionnelle Affichage à DEL L’indicateur HI est illuminé et la chaufferette émet une chaleur élevée continue (1500W). Température ambiante de la pièce L’indicateur AUTO est illuminé et le thermostat peut être programmé pour que la température désirée soit maintenue.
OSCILLATION Votre chaufferette dispose d’une fonction « Oscillation ». Si vous désirez faire circuler la chaleur sur une plus grande zone, servez-vous de cette fonction. CARACTÉRISTIQUES DE SÉCURITÉ DE LA CHAUFFERETTE Grilles de sécurité : La chaufferette est munie de grilles de sécurité sur le devant pour protéger l’élément chauffant. Cette partie de la chaufferette peut devenir très chaude. Évitez de boucher la grille pour prévenir un risque d’incendie.
DÉPANNAGE Si votre chaufferette présente des problèmes de fonctionnement, tentez de régler la situation à l’aide du guide de dépannage ci-dessous avant de communiquer avec le Service à la clientèle. Problème La chaufferette ne se met pas en marche. Cause probable La chaufferette n’est pas branchée à une prise de courant polarisée de 120V. La chaufferette a chaviré et le commutateur de protection antichavirement a mis fin au fonctionnement de l’appareil.
