BELLE MEADE SIGNATURE, INC.
CASE GOODS WARRANTY
Belle Meade Signature, Inc. warrants its wood products to be free from defects in material and workmanship under
normal use and service for a period of two (2) years from the date of shipment to the retailer. Furniture in which such
defects do occur will be repaired or replaced at Belle Meade Signature’s option. If replacement or repairs are not
possible, then alternate nancial remuneration is an option. This remedy is exclusive and Belle Meade Signature does
not authorize any person to create for it any other obligation or liability in connection with this furniture.
This warranty applies under conditions of normal residentional usage and does not apply to defects or damage
resulting from negligence, abuse, or misuse, including inadequate or improper maintenance, cleaning, or care, ex-
posure to chemicals and/or liquids, accidents, any use for which the product was not designed, commercial usage
(including: commercial, institutional, rental or any other non-residential use). Transportation or delivery damage is
excluded from this warranty.
This warranty protects you only when you purchase a Belle Meade Signature product from an authorized Belle
Meade Signature retailer. This warranty also only applies when you purchase Belle Meade Signature products for your
own normal household use and not for resale or commercial use.
This warranty does not cover oor samples, products designed “AS IS” at the time of purchase. In addition this war-
ranty does not cover minor differences between printed Belle Meade Signature illustrations and actual product.
Belle Meade Signature customer is the retailer. All complaints must be resolved through the retailer from which the
furniture was purchased. To obtain warranty service, the retailer must supply the dated proof of purchase from Belle
Meade Signature. This warranty gives you specic legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from state
to state. Any implied warranty of merchantability or tness for a particular purpose applicable to this furniture is
limited in duration to two (2) years from the initial purchase. Belle Meade Signature shall not be liable for any conse-
quential damages or from commercial loss.
Wood furniture is made of naturally variable raw materials. Differences in grain character and color among wood
species are naturally occurring variations and not within the control of the manufacturer or considered defects
under this warranty. Natural color changes, variations, or movements in lumber or veneer products, and exposure
to extreme temperature changes and direct sunlight may cause color changes and/or surface damage. In some
cases, crothched and highly gured mahogany veneers may develop hair-like cracks as the wood ages. These in
no way interfere with the life expectancy or beauty of the furniture. These circumstances are beyond Belle Meade
Signature control and are not warranty issues.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty will last or the exclusion or limitation of inciden-
tal or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
If you nd a problem, all claims for warranty service must be accompanied by your original proof of purchase, con-
tain a brief written description of the defect, and must be made through the retailer where the upholstered furniture
was purchased. There are some repairs that can be taken care of in your home, and your certied retailer will handle
those repairs. If the retailer feels that factory service is needed, Belle Meade Signature will make arrangements to
pick up your furniture from the retailer, make any repairs necessary, and return it to your retailer. Belle Meade Sig-
nature is not responsible for transportation costs from the consumer’s home to the retailer, nor are we responsible for
transportation cost to and from our factory service center one (1) year after the purchase.
Warranty Limitations and Exclusions: All implied warranties, including implied warrranties of merchantability and t-
ness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of the express warranty on this product, and on the particu-
lar portion or part of the product in question. The warranty and remedies set forth above rare exclusive and in lieu of
all others, oral or written, express of implied. In no event will Belle Meade Signature be liable to you for any damages,
including incidential or consequential damages, arising out of the use or inability to use this product.
