Adj ust ing t he Volum e
Dur ing a call, if you w ant t o adj ust t he v oice
volum e, use t he volum e keys on t he left side of
the phone.
Press t he upper portion of the key t o increase
and low er portion t o decrease t he volum e. The
illust ration on the display shows v olum e levels
( t he m or e bars, the louder) . No bars with t he
sym bol X indicat es t he key beep is turned off.
I n St andby m ode, you can adj ust t he key tone
volum e for calls using t hese k eys.
Answ ering a Ca ll
When som ebody calls y ou, t he phone alerts you
by ring, blinking ser vice light and t he following
screen on the display.
I f y ou have subscribed t he Line I dent ificat ion
Service ( cont act y our service provider) and the
caller can be identified, t he caller’ s phone num ber
( or nam e if st or ed in your Phonebook) is
displayed.
1. To answer a call, flip up the phone. I f t he flip
is already up, press t he< Send> key.
I f t he Answ er k e y m enu is set t o An y Key, y ou
can answer a call by pressing any key except
the< End : Pow er> key.
I f t he m enu is set t o Se nd Key Only, you m ust
press t he < Send> key t o answer t he call.
2. End t he call by flip down the phone or
pressing t he < End : Pow er> key.

N ot e : You can answer a call while using t he phonebook
or m enu features. The curr ent operat ion will be
int errupt ed.

View ing M issed Calls
I f y ou are unable t o answer a call for any reason,
you can find out w ho was calling you, if t his
ser vice is available. I n t his way, you can call t he
person back, if necessary.
The num ber of m issed calls is display ed on the
idle screen im m ediately after t he call w as
m issed.
To view t he m issed call im m ediat ely, proceed as
follows.
1. I f t h e ph on e is... Then...
flip down Watch t he LCD Screen.
flip up Press t he List soft key.
The num ber corr esponding to t he m ost recent
m issed call is displayed, if available.
2. To... Th en press t he...
Scroll t hrough t he < Navigation Up> or
m issed calls < Navigat ion Dow n> key.
Call the num ber < Send> key.
