Mut ing the M icr ophone
You can tem porarily sw it ch y our phone’s
m icr ophone off, so t hat the ot her party cannot
hear you.
Ex am ple: You wish t o say som et hing t o anot her person
in t he r oom but do not want the other party t o hear you.
To swit ch t he m icrophone off t em porarily,
proceed as follow s.
1. During a call, press t he Opt soft key t o enter
I n- Call Options.
2. Press t he < Navigat ion Up> or < Navigat ion
Down> key to highlight Mut e.
3. Press t he SELECT soft key.
Your correspondent can no longer hear you.
To swit ch t he m icrophone back on, proceed as
follows.
1. Press t he Opt soft key t o enter I n- Call
Opt ions.
2. Press t he < Navigat ion Up> or < Navigat ion
Down> key to highlight Unm ute.
3. Press t he SELECT soft key.
Your correspondent can hear you again.
Using t he M essa ge Service
Your phone can receive an incom ing m essage
during a call. You can read it im m ediately wit hout
disconnect ing t he call. Also, you can send a
m essage during a call.
1. Press t he Opt soft key and select Call
Message by pressing t he< End : Power> key.
2. Press t he SELECT soft key
The phone ent ers t he Message m enu. Refer to
[ Messages] m enu.
