Phonebook
You can st or e phone num ber s and t heir
corr esponding nam es in t he m em ories of y our
SI M card and the phone. You can st ore up to 500
and 200 entries respectively t he SI M card and
phone m em ories, alt hough phy sically separate,
are used as if t hey w ere a single ent ity, called t he
Phonebook.
St oring a Phone N um ber
w it h a N am e
1. Key in the num ber to be st ored.

2. When y ou are sure t hat it is correct , press t he
Sa ve soft k ey.
3. Enter t he cor responding nam e up t o 20
charact ers.
For inform at ion on how t o ent er a nam e, see eZi
text input .
I f necessary, pr ess t he < Nav igation Down> key to
highlight t he Num ber field and edit t he num ber .
4. When y ou are satisfied, pr ess t he SELECT soft
key .
5. Press t he < Navigat ion Left > or < Navigat ion
Right> key t o select the desired m em ory locat ion
from Phon e and SI M Ca rd.
6. Press t he SAVE soft key t o st ore t he nam e and
num ber .
Spe ed- Dialing from
Phonebook
Once you have assigned speed-dial allocat ion to
the Phonebook ent r ies ( r efer t o ‘ Speed Dials’ in
Phonebook opt ions) , you can dial t he num ber
wit h one key press. Speed- dialing will save you
ent ering all digit s of t he num ber.
To speed- dial a num ber, press and hold down t he
appropriat e key 2 to 9 in St andby m ode.

Using Phonebook Opt ions
I n St andby m ode, Nam es appears above the
right soft k ey to allow you t o access t he
Phonebook. The Phonebook provides you wit h
the various options.
Acce ssin g t he Options
To access t he various Phonebook opt ions,
proceed as follow s.
1. I n St andby m ode, press t he Nam es soft key.
The first available opt ion is highlight ed.
2. To... Th e n press t he...
Select the SELECT soft key.

different opt ion Down> key one or m ore
tim es until t he r equired

Exit t he Phonebook Ba ck soft key or the
