I n Message stores the m essages t hat you have
received.
When you received a new m essage, ‘ R eceived
Message’ and New m essage icon ( ) appear s in
display.
To r ead the m essage im m ediately, press t he
SELECT soft key.
Once you ent er this m enu, y ou can see the last
received m essage. Scr oll to t he desired m essage
by using t he < Nav igation Left > or < Navigat ion
Right> key scan through t he m essage by
pressing t he < Navigat ion Up> or < Navigation
Down> key.
Press t he Opt soft key to use t he following
opt ions.
While viewing a m essage, you can choose t he
following options, by pressing t he Opt soft key:
Re ply: allows you t o send a reply m essage t o t he
sender.
For w ard: allows you to forw ard the selected
m essage t o anot her phone num ber.
Ex t r a ct N u m ber: ext racts a num ber fr om t he
m essage if it has, so t hat you can call the
num ber or sav e it in t he Phonebook.
Dele t e: allows you t o delet e t he select ed
m essage.
Dele t e All: deletes all m essages st ored in Out
Message.
When a confirm ing m essage appears, pr ess t he
SELECT soft key t o rem ove t hem or the Ba ck
soft key t o cancel delet ing.
Mem ory St a tus
This m enu shows you the st at us of m em ory for
m essages regardless of Out Message or I n
Message. You can see the num ber of t he st ored
m essages and t he t ot al num ber of t he m essage
the phone can st ore.
Set t ing
Via t his m enu, you can set up default SMS
inform at ion.
The follow ing options are available:
service Cent : allow s you to st or e or change the
num ber of your SMS cent r e requir ed when
sending m essages. You m ust obtain t his num ber
from your service pr ovider .
Va lidit y : allows y ou t o set t he lengt h of t im e for
which your t ext m essages will be st ored at t he
m essage centre w hile at t em pt s ar e m ade to
deliver t hem to you. 1 hour, 6 hours, 12 hours,
1 day, 2 days, 1 week, and Max are available.
Select ing Max st ores t he m essage as long as
defined in SMS cent er.
SM S Alert : allows you t o set how m any tim es
and how oft en the phone aler t s you the incom ing
m essages. I f you do not want t o be alerted,
select OFF. I f y ou select One Tim e, t he phone will
alert you just one tim e when a m essages com es
in. I f you select Periodic, t he phone will alert y ou
at every predefined t im es.
St a t u s Repor t : allow s you to act ivate or
deact iv at e t he report funct ion. When t his funct ion
is act ivated, t he network infor m s you w het her
your m essage has been delivered or not .
When you receiv e Stat us Report, it is
