PI N
Using t his m enu, you can act ivat e use of PI N
( Personal I dentificat ion Num ber) provided by SI M
card and change t he PI N code if available.
Enable PI N / Disa ble PI N
When the PI N Request feature is enabled, you
m ust ent er y our PI N each t im e y ou swit ch t he
phone on. Consequent ly , any person who does
not have your PI N cannot use your phone
wit hout your approval.
I f t he PI N is disabled, Enable PI N m enu is
displayed and vice versa.
N ot e : Before disabling the PI N Request feature, you
m ust enter your PI N.
The follow ing opt ions are av ailable.
Disa ble: the phone connect s direct ly to t he
net work when you swit ch it on.
Enable: you m ust enter t he PI N each t im e t he
phone is swit ched on.
Cha nge PI N
This feat ure allows you t o change your current
PI N t o a new one, provided t hat t he PI N Request
feat ure is enabled. You m ust ent er the current
PI N before you can specify a new one.
Once you have ent ered a new PI N, you ar e asked
to confir m it by entering it again.
Priva t e Passw ord
Using t his m enu, you can act ivat e use of t he
password for t he Private m enu and change t he
the password.
Pa ssw or d Request
When the Password Request feat ure is enabled,
you m ust ent er the 8- digit password each tim e
you t ry t o access t he Privat e m enu. This
prevents your privat e inform at ion fr om being
accessed by unauthorized person.
The follow ing opt ions are av ailable.
Off: you ar e not asked to ent er t he phone
password when you swit ch t he phone on.
On: you are required to ent er t he phone
password when you swit ch t he phone on.
Cha nge Pa ssw ord
The Change Password feat ure allow s you t o
change your current Privat e password t o a new
one. You m ust enter t he current password before
you can specify a new one.
The password is fact ory set to 00000000. Once
you have ent er ed a new password, you ar e asked
to confir m it by entering it again.
