Operat ion of any radio transm it t ing equipm ent , 
including cellular phones, m ay int erfere wit h t he 
funct ionality of inadequat ely prot ect ed m edical 
devices. Consult  a physician or  t he m anufacturer  
of t he m edical device t o det erm ine if t hey are 
adequately  shielded from  external RF energy or if 
you have any quest ions. Swit ch off your phone 
in health care facilities when any regulat ions 
post ed in t hese ar eas inst ruct  you t o do so.

At m ospheres 
Swit ch off your phone when in any ar ea w it h a 
pot entially explosive atm ospher e and obey all 
signs and inst ruct ions. Sparks in such ar eas 
could cause an explosion or fire result ing in 
bodily inj ur y or ev en deat h. 
Users are advised to swit ch off t he phone while 
at  a refueling point  (service st ation) . Users ar e 
rem inded of t he need t o observe rest rict ions on 
the use of radio equipm ent  in fuel depot s (fuel 
st orage and distribut ion ar eas) , chem ical plants 
or where blast ing operations are in pr ogr ess. 
Areas wit h a pot entially explosive atm ospher e 
are oft en but  not  always clearly m arked. They  
include below  deck on boat s;  chem ical transfer 
or st orage facilities;  vehicles using liquefied 
pet roleum  gas ( such as pr opane or but ane) ;  
areas where t he air cont ains chem icals or 
particles, such as grain, dust  or m et al pow ders;  
and any ot her area w here you would norm ally be 
advised to t urn off your  vehicle engine.

Only qualified personnel should service t he  phone, 
or inst all t he phone in a vehicle. Faulty 
inst allat ion or service m ay be dangerous and m ay  
inv alidate any  warr ant y  which m ay apply to t he 
unit. 
Check regularly t hat  all m obile phone equipm ent  
on your vehicle is m ount ed and operat ing 
properly. 
Do not st ore or carr y flam m able liquids, gases or  
explosive m at erials in t he sam e com partm ent  as 
the phone, it s par t s or accessories. 
For vehicles equipped with an air bag, r em em ber 
that  an air bag inflat es w it h gr eat  force. Do not
