Call Funct ions
Ma k ing a Call
To m ake a call, pr oceed as follows:
1. I n St andby m ode, ent er the area code and
phone num ber.

N ot e : When ent ering t he num ber , pr essing and
holding down t he key insert s a pause. The
num ber aft er a pause will be sent a few
seconds aft er dialing the first num ber .

2. Press t he< Send> key. The phone places t he
call t o t he ent ered num ber.

N ot e : I f you hav e set Aut o Redial m enu ( Menu 4- 6- 3) t o
On and when nobody answer s t o you or t he line is busy,
the phone aut om at ically ret ries t o m ake t he call.

The last digit t he C soft key displayed
Any ot her digit the < Navigat ion Left > or
in the num ber < Navigat ion Right > key
unt il t he cursor is
im m ediat ely t o t he right of
the digit t o be cleared.
Press t he C soft key. You
can also insert a m issing
digit sim ply by pressing the
appropriat e key.
The w hole display hold down t he C soft key for
m ore t han one seconds.
Ending a Ca ll
When you have finished y our call, press t he
< End: Power> key .
The call tim e ( lengt h of t he call) displays wit h
the num ber of the called part y. I f t he num ber is
st ored in your Phonebook , the nam e is displayed.
I f t her e is no m atch in Phonebook , you can pr ess
the Save soft k ey and st or e t he num ber t o t he
Phonebook. For fur t her inform at ion on st oring
the num ber in t he Phonebook , see [ Phonebook]
m enu.
Or, sim ply close t he phone t o end a call.
Ma k ing I nterna t ional Calls
1. Press and hold down the O key.
The + appears in display.
2. Enter t he country code, area code, and phone
num ber , then press t he< Send> key t o begin
dialing.
Ma k ing a Call from the
Phonebook
You can st or e t he phone num bers called regularly
in m em ory, called Phonebook . You t hen sim ply
recall the num ber t o dial. For further inform at ion
refer t o [ Phonebook ] m enu.
Re dialing t he La st N um ber
To r edial the num ber you dialed last , pr ess
the< Send> key twice.
Your phone st ores up to 30 last num ber s you
dialed in Call Records. To recall any of t hese
num ber s, refer to ‘ Dialed No.’ on [ Call Records]
part.
