OPERATION
Thermostat calls for heat.
First main valve opens.
Gas flows to pilot burner.
Igniter-sensor sparks.
Pilot burner lights.
Module sense s flame current.
Pilot burner does not light, or
module does not sense flame cu rrent.
Module S8600H

Ignition spark continues.System locks out.
Operator turns thermostat
below 200°F/93°C, moves
on/off switch to OFF, and
waits at least one minute.
After no more than 5 minutes,
operator turns thermost at
below 200°F/93°C, moves
on/off switch to OFF, and
waits at le ast o ne minute.
Sparking stops.
Second main valve ope ns.
Module monitors pilot flame
cu rre nt.
Thermostat stops
calling fo r heat .
Pilot flame fails. Power is interrupted.
System shuts off. (Restarts
when power is restored.)
Main valve closes. Valves close.
Burners shut off.
