This appliance is for household use and may be plugged into any AC electrical
outlet (ordinary household current). Do not use any other electrical outlet.
WARNING: This multiple temperature curling iron has been specially designed to
curl very coarse, thick, hard-to-curl hair. Due to this special application, the
barrel of this curling iron will be hotter on the HI (17-20) settings than regular
dual-heat curling irons. Due to the extreme heat capabilities of this iron, the
barrel will be very hot in the HI (17-20) settings, so extra care should be taken
when using.
• Keep unit away from contact with all skin areas. Do not touch iron barrel with
fingertips.
• For shorter hair, place a thin plastic comb between scalp and curling iron
barrel to avoid touching scalp.
• Place fingers of free hand on safety tip when more control is needed for
curling.
• Test small section of hair to determine correct heat setting for the type of hair
being styled.
SPECIAL FEATURE: This iron features solid-state electronic circuitry with a heat
sensor that detects temperature loss and quickly boosts the power to bring the
heat level back to optimum styling temperature. This allows for styling in half the
time it takes with an ordinary iron.
TO USE: For a complete styling, hair should be clean, dry and free from dirt, hair
spray, creams, etc. (This iron can also be used for quick touch-ups any time.)
Rest the iron on its stand on a smooth, flat surface, and plug in. Press On/Off
button, and the power indicator light will illuminate. Then, select a temperature
according to the type and texture of hair to be styled.
HOW TO GET PROFESSIONAL RESULTS WITH THIS CURLING IRON
This unique curling iron has been designed with multiple temperatures, providing
very high heat in the HI (17-20) settings for curling very coarse, thick, hard-to-
curl hair, and very low heat in the LO (1-4) settings for curling extra fine,
damaged or dry hair. It also provides a full range of heat settings between LO
and HI, for all normal textures and thicknesses of hair.
FOR FAST HEAT-UP: With heat control dial set at desired position, allow unit to
pre-heat. The power indicator light will begin to flash to signal that appliance is
ready for use. For optimum styling performance, let the iron continue to heat for
about 2 minutes before using.
TEST A SMALL SECTION OF HAIR BEFORE USING; THEN ADJUST
TEMPERATURE DEPENDING ON TYPE OF HAIR.
HEAT SETTINGS:
HI (17-20)
These settings are very hot. Use only if hair is very coarse and highly resistant,
but in good condition.
MED/HI (13-16)
Use heat settings in this range for dense, hard-to-curl hair in good condition.
MEDIUM (9-12)
Use heat settings in this range for thick, wavy hair in good condition.
LO/MED (5-8)
Use heat settings in this range for easy-to-curl, normal hair.
LO (1-4)
Use LO heat settings for very fine, fragile, light-colored hair.
STYLING: Start by sectioning hair into strands of not more than 1 inch deep and
2 inches wide.
This appliance requires little maintenance and contains no user serviceable
parts. Do not try to repair it yourself. Refer it to qualified service personnel if
servicing is needed.
TO CLEAN: Unplug curling iron and allow to cool. Iron must be cleaned only
when cold. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to wipe the handle. Do not allow
water or any other liquid to go into handle of the iron.
TO STORE: Unplug appliance and let it cool; store in its box or in a clean, dry
place. Store the cord loosely coiled. Never wrap the cord around unit; this
could cause the cord to wear prematurely and break. Do not put any stress on
cord where it enters the handle, as it could cause cord to fray and possibly
break. Never hang unit up by the power cord -- use the hanging ring provided.

PRECAUCION: Esta tenaza para rizar de múltiple temperatura ha sido
especialmente diseñada para rizar cabellos muy gruesos y difíciles de rizar.
Debido a esta especial cualidad, la barra de esta tenaza estará más caliente en
las posiciones de temperaturas Alta (17-20) que las tenazas regulares de doble
temperatura. Dada la capacidad para una extrema temperatura de esta tenaza,
la barra estará muy caliente en las posiciones de temperaturas ALTA (17-20), se
recomienda mucho cuidado cuando se esté usando.
• Evite el contacto de la unidad con su piel. No toque la barra de la tenaza con
los dedos.
• Para cabellos más cortos, coloque un peine delgado de plástico entre la tenaza
y el cuero cabelludo para evitar tocar este último.
• Coloque los dedos de la mano libre en la punta protectora cuando sea
necesario más control para el rizado.
• Haga una prueba en una pequeña sección del cabello para determinar la
temperatura correcta para el tipo del cabello.
CARACTERISTICA ESPECIAL: Esta tenaza se caracteriza por un circuito
electrónico con un sensor de temperatura que detecta la pérdida de temperatura
y eleva rápidamente la fuerza para regresar a un nivel de temperatura optima
para el peinado. Esto le permite peinarse en la mitad del tiempo que toma con una
tenaza ordinaria.
COMO USARSE: Para un mejor acabado, el cabello debe estar limpio, seco y libre
de laca, cremas, etc. (Su tenaza también puede ser usada para retoques en
cualquier momento.)
Coloque la tenaza en su parador en una superficie plana y enchúfela. Presione el
botón de Encendido/Apagado (On/Off) y la luz indicadora se iluminará. Luego
seleccione la temperatura de acuerdo al tipo y textura del pelo a ser peinado.
COMO OBTENER RESULTADOS PROFESIONALES CON SU TENAZA
Esta singular tenaza ha sido diseñada con temperatura múltiple, proveyendo
temperatura bastante alta en las posiciones de temperaturas ALTA (17-20) para
rizar cabellos muy gruesos, abundantes y difíciles de rizar y temperatura bastante
baja en las posiciones de temperaturas BAJA (1-4) para rizar cabellos muy finos,
dañados o secos. También provee una variedad de temperaturas entre la BAJA y
la ALTA para texturas normales y grosor del cabello.
PARA UN RAPIDO CALENTAMIENTO: Con el dial de control de temperatura
colocado en la posición deseada, deje que la unidad se caliente. La luz indicadora
de encendido comenzará a oscilar para avisar que el artefacto está listo para ser
usado. Para un óptimo resultado del peinado, deje que la tenaza continúe
calentando por lo menos 2 minutos antes de usarla.
HAGA UNA PRUEBA EN UNA PEQUEÑA SECCION DEL CABELLO ANTES DE
USARLA; LUEGO SELECCIONE LA TEMPERATURA DE ACUERDO AL TIPO DE
CABELLO.
POSICIONES DE TEMPERATURAS:
ALTA (17-20)
Estas temperaturas son muy calientes. Uselas si el cabello es muy grueso,
abundante, resistente, pero en buenas condiciones.
MEDIANA/ALTA (13-16)
Use las temperaturas en este orden para cabellos abundantes, difíciles de rizar
en buenas condiciones.
MEDIANA (9-12)
Use las temperaturas en este orden para cabellos gruesos, ondulados y en
buenas condiciones.
BAJA/MEDIANA (5-8)
Use las temperaturas en este orden para cabellos fáciles de rizar, cabellos
normales.
BAJA (1-4)
Use las temperaturas bajas para cabellos muy finos, frágiles y de color claro.
PEINADO: Comience dividiendo el pelo en mechones de no más de 1 pulgada de
grueso y 2 pulgadas de ancho.
Mantenga los mechones suaves, cepillándolos o peinándolos mientras sostiene
la punta del pelo estirado con la otra mano.
Tomando una sección a la vez, coloque las puntas del cabello sobre la barra con
el clip abierto. Luego cierre el clip, asegurándose que las puntas del cabello se
extiendan solo un poquito fuera del clip. Sostenga la punta protectora con la otra
mano, así será más fácil de enrollar el pelo.
Mantenga la sección del pelo estirado conforme vaya enrollándolo en la barra
caliente, dándole vuelta por el mango con una mano y por la punta protectora
con la otra. Enrolle el rizo lo más que desee hacia su cuero cabelludo sin tocarlo
con la barra caliente.
Sostenga el rulo en el lugar por 20 segundos para rizos bien acentuados o si el
cabello es difícil de ondular. Mantenga por menos tiempo si el cabello es fácil de
rizar o si desea rulos sueltos o solamente ondas. Cuando ya esté listo para soltar,
desenvuelva media vuelta (para cabellos más largos desenvuelva un poco más) y
empuje hacia abajo la palanca del clip para abrirlo. Ahora suavemente suelte la
barra del centro del rizo. Deje que el rizo se enfríe y trate de no tocar los demás
rizos hasta que termine con toda la cabeza.
Cuando ya esté todo listo y los rizos estén completamente fríos, suavemente
cepille y péinelos al estilo que usted desea.
FIJANDO LAS PUNTAS DE SU CABELLO: Para rizos esponjosos o rizos sueltos, el
clip debe estar debajo y la barra sobre la sección del pelo al comienzo del rizo.
Para rizos hacia adentro o estilo paje, el clip debe ir arriba y la barra debajo de
la sección del pelo al comienzo del rizo.
APAGADO AUTOMATICO: Aproximadamente después de una hora, la unidad
automáticamente se apagará. Para reactivar la unidad, presione el botón de
Encendido/Apagado (On/Off).
USO DE DOBLE VOLTAJE
Este producto contiene un circuito especial. Este circuito automáticamente se
ajusta al voltaje de otros países. Cuando viaje al extranjero, este producto puede
ser enchufado en un tomacorriente de cualquier voltaje sin tener el usuario que
hacer un ajuste manual al producto en ningún sentido. Para usarlo en algúnos
países, podría ser necesario un adaptador de la misma configuración del
receptáculo.
COMO USAR
CUIDADO Y LIMPIEZA
Este artefacto requiere poco mantenimiento y no tiene piezas que puedan ser
reparadas. No trate de repararlo usted mismo. Si necesita reparación remítalo a
personas calificadas.
PARA LIMPIAR: Desenchufe la tenaza y déjela que enfríe. La tenaza solamente
debe limpiarse cuando esté fría. Use un paño suave, ligeramente humedecido
para limpiar el mango. No deje que penetre agua u otro líquido al mango de la
tenaza.
PARA GUARDAR: Desconecte su artefacto, déjelo enfriar y guárdelo en su misma
caja o en un lugar seco y limpio. Enrolle el cordón suavemente, sin ajustarlo.
Nunca lo enrolle ajustado alrededor de su unidad, esto podría causar que se
gaste prematuramente y rompa. No ponga presión al cordón donde éste entra
al mango, ya que esto podría causar el desgaste del cordón y su posible rotura.
Nunca cuelgue la unidad por el cordón -- use el aro para colgar que viene con
la unidad.

Keep the hair strand smooth by brushing or combing through the section while
holding the ends taut with the other hand.
Taking one section at a time, place the ends of hair over the barrel with the
clamp open. Then close the clamp, making sure that the ends extend just a tiny
bit beyond the clamp. Grasp the safety tip with the other hand, and it will be
easy to roll hair.
Keep the section of hair taut while winding it around the hot barrel by turning
the handle with one hand and the safety tip with the other. Wind the curl
toward scalp as far as you wish to go without touching scalp with the
hot barrel.
Hold the curl in place for up to 20 seconds for tight curls or if hair is hard to
curl. Hold for less time if hair is easy to curl, or if you want loose curls or just
waves. When you are ready to release curl, unwind about half a turn (for
longer hair, unwind a bit more) and push down on the clamp release lever to
open the clamp. Now, gently withdraw the barrel from the center of curl. Allow
curl to cool, and try not to disturb curls while proceeding in the same manner
around whole head.
When completely finished, and all curls have cooled thoroughly, gently brush
and comb hair into the style desired.
STYLING TIP: For bouncy, flip-up curls, the clamp should be under and the
barrel over the section of hair at the start of curl. For curl-under, page-boy
styles, the clamp should be over and the barrel under the hair section at the
start of curl.
AUTO-OFF: After approximately one hour, the unit will automatically shut
itself off. To reactivate the unit, press On/Off button.
DUAL VOLTAGE USE
This product contains a special electronic circuit. This circuit automatically
adjusts to worldwide voltage. When traveling overseas, this product can be
plugged into any voltage outlet without the user having to adjust the product
manually in any way. For use in some overseas countries, an attachment plug
adapter of the proper configuration for the power supply receptacle may be
required.
USE ONLY LOW SETTINGS FOR PERMED OR COLOR-TREATED HAIR.
