This appliance is for household use and may be plugged into any AC
electrical outlet (ordinary household current). Do not use any other
electrical outlet.
WARNING: This multiple temperature brush iron has been specially
designed to curl very coarse, thick, hard-to-curl hair. Due to this special
application, the barrel of this appliance will be hotter on the HI (17-20)
settings than regular dual-heat brush irons. Due to the extreme heat
capabilities of this brush iron, the barrel will be very hot in the HI
(17-20) settings, so extra care should be taken when using.
• Keep unit away from contact with all skin areas. Do not touch brush
iron barrel with fingertips.
• For shorter hair, place a thin plastic comb between scalp and barrel to
avoid touching scalp.
• Place fingers of free hand on safety tip when more control is needed
for curling.
• Test small section of hair to determine correct heat setting for the
type of hair being styled.
SPECIAL FEATURE: This brush iron features solid-state electronic
circuitry with a heat sensor that detects temperature loss and quickly
boosts the power to bring the heat level back to optimum styling
temperature. This allows for styling in half the time it takes with an
ordinary iron.
TO USE: For a complete styling, hair should be clean, dry and free from
dirt, hair spray, creams, etc. (This appliance can also be used for quick
touch-ups any time.)
Rest the brush iron on a smooth, flat surface, and plug in. Press On/Off
switch, and the power indicator light will illuminate. Then, select a
temperature according to the type and texture of hair to be styled.
HOW TO GET PROFESSIONAL RESULTS WITH THIS CURLING BRUSH
This unique curling brush has been designed with multiple temperatures,
providing very high heat in the HI (17-20) settings for curling very coarse,
thick, hard-to-curl hair, and very low heat in the LO (1-4) settings for
curling extra fine, damaged or dry hair. It also provides a full range of
heat settings between LO and HI, for all normal textures and thicknesses
of hair.
FOR FAST HEAT-UP: With heat control dial set at desired position, allow
unit to pre-heat. The power indicator light will begin to flash to signal that
appliance is ready for use. For optimum styling performance, let the brush
continue to heat for about 3 minutes before using.
TEST A SMALL SECTION OF HAIR BEFORE USING; THEN ADJUST
TEMPERATURE DEPENDING ON TYPE OF HAIR.
HEAT SETTINGS:
HI (17-20): These settings are very hot. Use only if hair is very coarse and
highly resistant, but in good condition.
MED/HI (13-16): Use heat settings in this range for dense, hard-to-curl
hair in good condition.
MEDIUM (9-12): Use heat settings in this range for thick, wavy hair in
good condition.
LO/MED (5-8): Use heat settings in this range for easy-to-curl,
normal hair.
LO (1-4): Use LO heat settings for very fine, fragile, light-colored hair.
STYLING: Taking one section at a time, use the brush barrel to roll hair in
the direction of the curl desired, and hold a few seconds. The safety tip
can be a great help in winding; use one hand on the handle and the
fingers of the other on the safety tip. (Note: To avoid tangling, do not
wind hair around the brush more than two times.) When hair feels warm,
the curl is set. Carefully remove brush barrel and allow curl to cool
without disturbing it. Continue all over head. When style desired is
achieved brush into place … also using the hot brush! When completely
finished, and all curls have cooled thoroughly, gently brush and comb hair
into the style preferred.
AUTO-OFF: After approximately one hour, the unit will automatically shut
itself off. To reactivate the unit, press On/Off switch.
DUAL VOLTAGE USE
This product contains a special electronic circuit. This circuit
automatically adjusts to worldwide voltage. When traveling overseas, this
product can be plugged into any voltage outlet without the user’s having
to adjust the product manually in any way. For use in some overseas
countries, an attachment plug adapter of the proper configuration for the
power supply receptacle may be required.

cualquier tomacorriente de corriente alterna (corriente ordinaria

PRECAUCION: Este cepillo de múltiple temperatura ha sido
especialmente diseñado para rizar cabellos muy gruesos y difíciles de
rizar. Debido a esta especial cualidad, la barra de este aparato estará
más caliente en las posiciones de temperaturas Alta (17-20) que los

• Evite el contacto de la unidad con su piel. No toque la barra del cepillo
con los dedos.
• Para cabellos más cortos, coloque un peine delgado de plástico entre
el cepillo y el cuero cabelludo para evitar tocar este último.
• Coloque los dedos de la mano libre en la punta protectora cuando sea
necesario más control para el rizado.
• Haga una prueba en una pequeña sección del cabello para determinar
la temperatura correcta para el tipo del cabello.
CARACTERISTICA ESPECIAL: Este cepillo rizador se caracteriza por un
circuito electrónico con un sensor de temperatura que detecta la pérdida
de temperatura y eleva rápidamente la fuerza para regresar a un nivel de
temperatura optima para el peinado. Esto le permite peinarse en la mitad
del tiempo que toma con una tenaza ordinaria.
COMO USARSE: Para un mejor acabado, el cabello debe estar limpio,
seco y libre de laca, cremas, etc. (Este cepillo también puede ser usado
para retoques en cualquier momento.)
Coloque el cepillo rizador en una superficie plana y enchúfela. Presione
el interruptor Encendido/Apagado (On/Off) y la luz indicadora se
iluminará. Luego seleccione la temperatura de acuerdo al tipo y textura
del pelo a ser peinado.
COMO OBTENER RESULTADOS PROFESIONALES
Este singular cepillo rizador ha sido diseñado con temperatura múltiple,
proveyendo temperatura bastante alta en las posiciones de temperaturas
ALTA (17-20) para rizar cabellos muy gruesos, abundantes y difíciles de
rizar y temperatura bastante baja en las posiciones de temperaturas
BAJA (1-4) para rizar cabellos muy finos, dañados o secos. También
provee una variedad de temperaturas entre la BAJA y la ALTA para
texturas normales y grosor del cabello.
PARA UN RAPIDO CALENTAMIENTO: Con el dial de control de
temperatura colocado en la posición deseada, deje que la unidad se
caliente. La luz indicadora de encendido comenzará a oscilar para avisar
que el artefacto está listo para ser usado. Para un óptimo resultado del
peinado, deje que la tenaza continúe calentando por lo menos 3 minutos
antes de usarla.
HAGA UNA PRUEBA EN UNA PEQUEÑA SECCION DEL CABELLO ANTES
DE USARLA; LUEGO SELECCIONE LA TEMPERATURA DE ACUERDO AL
TIPO DE CABELLO.
POSICIONES DE TEMPERATURAS:
ALTA (17-20): Estas temperaturas son muy calientes. Uselas si el cabello
es muy grueso, abundante, resistente, pero en buenas condiciones.
MEDIANA/ALTA (13-16): Use las temperaturas en este orden para
cabellos abundantes, difíciles de rizar en buenas condiciones.
MEDIANA (9-12): Use las temperaturas en este orden para cabellos
gruesos, ondulados y en buenas condiciones.
BAJA/MEDIANA (5-8): Use las temperaturas en este orden para cabellos
fáciles de rizar, cabellos normales.
BAJA (1-4): Use las temperaturas bajas para cabellos muy finos, frágiles
y de color claro.
PEINADO: Ahora, tomando una sección a la vez, use la barra del cepillo
para enrollar el pelo en la dirección que desea el rizo y sosténgalo por
varios segundos. La punta protectora puede ser una gran ayuda para
enrollar el cabello, ya que con una mano se sujeta el mango y con los
dedos de la otra mano la punta protectora. (Nota: Para evitar que se
enrede el cabello no lo enrolle más de dos veces.) Cuando sienta el pelo
tibio, el rizo ya está listo y con cuidado saque el cepillo y deje que el rizo
se enfríe sin tocarlo. Continúe en toda la cabeza hasta obtener el estilo
deseado y puede cepillarlo...usando este mismo cepillo! Cuando esté
completamente terminado, y los rizos se hayan enfriado completamente,
suavemente cepille y peine el cabello al estilo preferido.
APAGADO AUTOMATICO: Aproximadamente después de una hora, la
unidad automáticamente se apagará. Para reactivar la unidad, presione
el interruptor Encendido/Apagado (On/Off).
USO DE DOBLE VOLTAJE
Este producto contiene un circuito especial. Este circuito
automáticamente se ajusta al voltaje de otros países. Cuando viaje al
extranjero, este producto puede ser enchufado en un tomacorriente de
cualquier voltaje sin tener el usuario que hacer un ajuste manual al
producto en ningún sentido. Para usarlo en algúnos países, podría ser
necesario un adaptador de la misma configuración del receptáculo.
LINE CORD SAFETY TIPS
1. Never pull or yank on the cord or the appliance.
2. To insert plug, grasp it firmly and guide it into outlet.
3. To disconnect appliance, grasp plug and remove it from outlet.
4. Before each use, inspect the line cord for cuts and/or abrasion
marks. If any are found, this indicates that the appliance should be
serviced and the line cord replaced. Please return it to our Service
Department or to an authorized service representative.
5. Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance, as this could place
undue stress on the cord where it enters the appliance and cause
it to fray and break.
DO NOT OPERATE APPLIANCE IF THE LINE CORD SHOWS ANY DAMAGE,
OR IF APPLIANCE WORKS INTERMITTENTLY OR STOPS WORKING
ENTIRELY.
IMPORTANT:
During the first few minutes of initial use, there may be a slight odor. This
is normal and will quickly disappear.
SUGERENCIAS PARA SEGURIDAD CON EL CORDON
1. Nunca hale o tire del cordón o del artefacto.
2. Para introducir el enchufe, sujételo firmemente y guíelo hacia

5. Nunca enrolle el cordón ajustadamente alrededor del artefacto,
ya que esto podría causar una presión excesiva en el cordón donde
éste entra al artefacto y causar desgaste y rotura.

This appliance requires little maintenance and contains no user
serviceable parts. Do not try to repair it yourself. Refer it to qualified
service personnel if servicing is needed.
TO CLEAN: Unplug unit and allow to cool. Appliance must be cleaned only
when cold. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to wipe the handle. Do not
allow water or any other liquid to go into handle of the brush iron.
TO STORE: Unplug appliance and let it cool; store in its box or in a clean,
dry place. Store the cord loosely coiled. Never wrap the cord around
unit; this could cause the cord to wear prematurely and break. Do not put
any stress on cord where it enters the handle, as it could cause cord to
fray and possibly break. Never hang unit up by the power cord -- use the
hanging ring provided.

COMO USAR
Este artefacto requiere poco mantenimiento y no tiene piezas que puedan
ser reparadas. No trate de repararlo usted mismo. Si necesita reparación
remítalo a personas calificadas.
PARA LIMPIAR: Desenchufe la unidad y déjela que enfríe. Esta unidad
solamente debe limpiarse cuando esté fría. Use un paño suave,
ligeramente húmedo para limpiar el mango. No deje que penetre agua u
otro líquido al mango del cepillo.
PARA GUARDAR: Desconecte el artefacto, déjelo enfriar y guárdelo en su
misma caja o en un lugar seco y limpio. Enrolle el cordón suavemente, sin
ajustarlo. Nunca lo enrolle ajustado alrededor de la unidad, esto podría
causar que se gaste prematuramente y rompa. No ponga presión al
cordón donde éste entra al mango, ya que esto podría causar el desgaste
del cordón y su posible rotura. Nunca cuelgue la unidad por el cordón --
use el aro para colgar que viene con la unidad.
