Cet appareil est pour utilisation domestique seulement et peut être
branché dans toute prise de courant CA (courant domestique
ordinaire). N'utilisez pas d'autres genres de prises de courant.
POUR UTILISER:
Faire des boucles est facile avec cette brosse conçu avec soin.
Pour un style complet, les cheveux doivent être propres, secs et
exempts de saleté, fixatif, crème, etc. (La brosse peut toujours être
utilisée pour les retouches rapides.)
PRÉCHAUFFAGE: Placez la brosse sur une surface douce plate.
Branchez-la et laissez la brosse se réchauffer. Lorsque le point
prêt en le baril devient foncé, la brosse est prête à utiliser.
Prenez une mèche à la fois, enroulez-la autour de baril de la
brosse dans la direction désirée et maintenez-la en place pendant
quelques secondes. Vous constaterez que l’embout de sécurité
isolant est très utile, car vous gardez une main sur la poignée et
l’autre sur l’embout isolant pour maîtriser l’unité. (REMARQUE:
Afin de ne pas emmêler les cheveux, n’enroulez pas la mèche
plus de deux fois autour de la brosse.) Lorsque les cheveux sont
chauds au toucher, déroulez et dégagez soigneusement la brosse
et laissez la mèche refroidir sans y toucher. Répétez tout autour de
la tête jusqu’à ce que vous obteniez le style désiré.
Lorsque vous avez complètement terminé et toutes les boucles ont
refroidi, brossez et peignez alors délicatement vos cheveux.

any AC electrical outlet (ordinary household current). Do not use
any other electrical outlet.
TO USE:
Making curls is a snap with this beautifully designed brush. For a
complete styling, hair should be clean, dry and free from dirt, hair
spray, creams, etc. (This brush can always be used for quick
touch-ups any time.)
PRE-HEAT: Rest the unit on a heat-resistant, flat surface. Plug in
and allow brush to heat. When ready dot on barrel turns dark, the
brush is ready for use.
Taking one section at a time, use the brush barrel to roll hair in the
direction of the curl you want, and hold a few seconds. You’ll find
This appliance requires little maintenance and contains no user
serviceable parts. Do not try to fix it yourself. Refer it to qualified
service personnel if servicing is needed.
TO CLEAN: Unplug curling brush and allow to cool. Brush must
be cleaned only when cold. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to wipe
the handle. Do not allow water or any other liquid to go into handle
of the brush. Hair can be removed from bristles with a small brush
or comb.
TO STORE: Unplug appliance and let it cool; store in its box or in
a clean, dry place. Store the cord loosely coiled. Never wrap the
cord around unit; this could cause the cord to wear prematurely
and break. Do not put any stress on cord where it enters the
handle, as it could cause cord to fray and possibly break. Never
hang unit up by the power cord.

LINE CORD SAFETY TIPS
1. Never pull or yank on the cord or the appliance.
2. To insert plug, grasp it firmly and guide it into outlet.
3. To disconnect appliance, grasp plug and remove it from outlet.
4. Before each use, inspect the line cord for cuts and/or abrasion
marks. If any are found, this indicates that the appliance
should be serviced and the line cord replaced. Please return
it to our Service Department or to an authorized service
representative.
5. Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance, as this
could place undue stress on the cord where it enters the
appliance and cause it to fray and break.
DO NOT OPERATE APPLIANCE IF THE LINE CORD SHOWS ANY
DAMAGE, OR IF APPLIANCE WORKS INTERMITTENTLY OR
STOPS WORKING ENTIRELY.
IMPORTANT:
During the first few minutes of initial use, you may notice smoke
and a slight odor. This is normal and will quickly disappear.
HOW TO USE
the cool safety tip a great help in winding, as you can use one
hand on the handle and the fingers of the other on the cool safety
tip. (Note: To avoid tangling, do not wind hair around the brush
more than two times.) When hair feels warm, the curl is set.
Carefully remove brush barrel and allow curl to cool without
disturbing it. Continue all over head until you have achieved the
style you want.
When completely finished, and all curls have cooled thoroughly,
gently brush and comb hair.
CARE AND CLEANING
Cet appareil ne requiert pas beaucoup d'entretien et ne contient
pas de pièces qui peuvent être réparées par l'utilisateur.
N'essayez pas de le réparer vous-même. Faites-le réparer par un
personnel de service qualifié si requis.
POUR NETTOYER: Débranchez la brosse et laissez-le refroidir.
La brosse doit être nettoyée seulement lorsqu'elle est froide.
Utilisez un chiffon doux, légèrement humide pour essuyer
la poignée. Ne laissez pas d'eau ou d'autre liquide entrer dans
la poignée de la brosse. Les soies doivent être nettoyées avec
une petite brosse ou peigne pour enlever toute accumulation
de cheveux.
POUR LE RANGEMENT: Débranchez l'appareil, laissez-le refroidir
et rangez-le dans sa boîte ou dans un endroit propre et sec. Le
cordon ne doit pas être enroulé fermement; n'enroulez jamais le
cordon autour de l'appareil. Le cordon pourrait s'user
prématurément et se briser. N'exercez pas de tension à l'endroit
où le cordon entre dans la poignée, il pourrait s'effilocher et peut-
être se briser. Ne suspendez jamais l'appareil par le cordon
d'alimentation.
CONSEILS DE SÉCURITÉ POUR LE FIL ÉLECTRIQUE
1. Ne jamais tirer sur le fil ou sur l’appareil
2. Pour brancher la fiche : Attraper fermement la fiche et la
guider dans la prise.
3. Pour débrancher l’appareil, attraper la fiche et l’enlever
de la prise.
4. Avant chaque usage, inspecter le fil électrique pour coupures
ou marques d’usure. Si on en trouve cela indique qu’il faut
réparer l’appareil et changer le fil électrique. Retourner
l’appareil au « Service Department » ou à un service de
réparations agréé.
5. Ne jamais enrouler le fil trop étroitement autour de l'appareil
car cela pourrait exercer trop de pression sur le fil à l'endroit
ou il entre dans l’appareil et pourrait l'effilocher et le faire
casser.
NE PAS UTILISER L’APPAREIL SI LE FIL ÉLECTRIQUE EST
ENDOMMAGÉ, SI L’APPAREIL NE FONCTIONNE QUE DE FAÇON
INTERMITTENTE OU S’IL NE FONCTIONNE PLUS DU TOUT.
IMPORTANT:
Pendant les quelques premières minutes de fonctionnement, vous
remarquerez peut-être un peu de fumée et une petite odeur. C'est
normal et elles se dissiperont rapidement.
