LINE CORD SAFETY TIPS
1. Never pull or yank on the cord or the appliance.
2. To insert plug, grasp it firmly and guide it into outlet.
3. To disconnect appliance, grasp plug and remove it from outlet.
4. Before each use, inspect the line cord for cuts and/or abrasion
marks. If any are found, this indicates that the appliance should be
serviced and the line cord replaced. Please return it to our Service
Department or to an authorized service representative.
5. Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance, as this could
place undue stress on the cord where it enters the appliance and
cause it to fray and break.
DO NOT OPERATE APPLIANCE IF THE LINE CORD SHOWS ANY
DAMAGE, OR IF APPLIANCE WORKS INTERMITTENTLY OR STOPS
WORKING ENTIRELY.
IMPORTANT: During the first few minutes of initial use, there may be a
slight odor. This is normal and will quickly disappear.
This appliance is for household use and may be plugged into any AC
electrical outlet (ordinary household current). Do not use any other
electrical outlet.
WARNING: This multiple temperature styling comb has been specially
designed to straighten or style very coarse, thick hair. Due to this special
application, this styling comb will be hotter on the HI setting than regular
dual-heat stylers. Due to the extreme heat capabilities of this styling
comb, extra care should be taken when using.
• Keep unit away from contact with all skin areas. Do not touch comb
with fingertips.
• For shorter hair, place a thin plastic comb between scalp and styling
comb to avoid touching scalp.
• Place fingers of free hand on safety tip when more control is needed
for styling.
• Test small section of hair to determine correct heat setting for type
of hair.
TO USE: For a complete styling, hair should be clean, dry and free from
dirt, hair spray, creams, etc.
PRE-HEAT: Rest the comb on its built-in safety stand on a smooth, flat
surface, and plug in. Turn on, set the temperature control to the desired
position and allow comb to heat.
HOW TO GET PROFESSIONAL RESULTS WITH THIS STYLING COMB
This unique styling comb has been designed with multiple temperatures,
providing very high heat in the HI setting for straightening and styling
very coarse, thick, hair, and very low heat in the LO setting for
straightening and styling extra fine, damaged or dry hair. It also provides
a full range of heat settings between LO and HI, for all normal textures
and thicknesses of hair. It takes 60-90 seconds to heat up.
FOR FAST HEAT-UP, turn temperature control to HI setting (for optimum
performance, let the iron heat for about 2-3 minutes) before using it.
Then, select a temperature according to the type of hair you have.
TEST A SMALL SECTION OF HAIR BEFORE USING; THEN ADJUST
TEMPERATURE ACCORDING TO YOUR NEEDS.
HI (21-30): These settings are very hot. Use only if hair is very coarse and
highly resistant, but in good condition.
MED/HI (16-20): Use heat settings in this range for dense, hard-to-curl
hair in good condition.
MEDIUM (13-15): Use heat settings in this range for thick, wavy hair in
good condition.
LO/MED (7-12): Use heat settings in this range for easy-to-curl, normal
hair.
LO (1-6): Use LO heat settings for very fine, fragile, light-colored hair.
WARNING: Due to the extreme heat capabilities of this unit, the comb
will be very hot in the HI setting, so extra care should be taken when
using.
This appliance requires little maintenance and contains no user
serviceable parts. Do not try to repair it yourself. Refer it to qualified
service personnel if servicing is needed.
TO CLEAN: Unplug styling comb and allow to cool. Comb must be cleaned
only when cold. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to wipe the handle. Do not
allow water or any other liquid to go into handle of the comb.
TO STORE: Unplug appliance and let it cool; store in its box or in a clean,
dry place. Store the cord loosely coiled. Never wrap the cord around unit;
this could cause the cord to wear prematurely and break. Do not put any
stress on cord where it enters the handle, as it could cause cord to fray
and possibly break. Never hang unit up by the power cord.

1. Nunca hale o tire del cordón o del artefacto.
2. Para introducir el enchufe, sujételo firmemente y guíelo hacia
el tomacorriente.
3. Para desconectar el artefacto, sujete el enchufe y retírelo del
tomacorriente.
4. Antes de cada uso, inspeccione el cordón si tiene cortes y/o
raspaduras. Si algo fuera encontrado, esto indica que el artefacto
deberá ser revisado y el cordón deberá ser reemplazado. Por favor,
devuélvalo a nuestro Departamento de Servicio o a un representante
de servicio autorizado.
5. Nunca enrolle el cordón ajustadamente alrededor del artefacto, ya
que esto podría causar una presión excesiva en el cordón donde
éste entra al artefacto y causar desgaste y rotura.
NO HAGA FUNCIONAR EL ARTEFACTO SI EL CORDON MUESTRA
CUALQUIER DAÑO, O SI EL ARTEFACTO FUNCIONA
INTERMITENTEMENTE O DEJA DE FUNCIONAR COMPLETAMENTE.
IMPORTANTE: Durante los primeros minutos del uso inicial, podría notar
un ligero olor. Esto es normal y desaparecerá rápidamente.
Este artefacto es para uso doméstico y puede ser enchufado en cualquier
tomacorriente de corriente alterna (corriente ordinaria doméstica). No
use ningún otro tomacorriente eléctrico.
PRECAUCION: Este peine estilizador de múltiple temperatura ha sido
especialmente diseñado para estirar o peinar cabellos muy gruesos y
abundantes. Debido a esta especial cualidad, este peine estilizador
estará más caliente en la posición ALTA (HI) que estilizadores regulares
de doble temperatura. Dada la capacidad para una extrema temperatura
de este peine, se recomienda mucho cuidado cuando se esté usando.
• Evite el contacto de la unidad con la piel. No toque el peine con
los dedos.
• Para cabellos más cortos, coloque un peine delgado de plástico entre
el cuero cabelludo y el peine estilizador para evitar tocar el cuero
cabelludo.
• Coloque los dedos de la mano libre en la punta protectora cuando sea
necesario más control para el estilo.
• Haga una prueba en una pequeña sección del cabello para determinar
la temperatura correcta para el tipo de cabello.
MODO DE USARSE Para un mejor acabado, el cabello debe estar limpio,
seco y libre de laca, cremas, etc.
PRE-CALENTAMIENTO: Coloque el peine en su parador en una superficie
plana y enchúfelo. Enciéndalo, seleccione la temperatura deseada y
déjelo que caliente. Toma unos 60-90 segundos para que se caliente.
COMO OBTENER RESULTADOS PROFESIONALES CON SU PEINE
ESTILIZADOR
Este singular peine estilizador ha sido diseñado con temperatura múltiple,
proveyendo temperatura bastante alta en la posición Alta (HI) para estirar
cabellos muy gruesos, y abundantes y temperatura bastante baja en la
posición Baja (LO) para estirar cabellos muy finos, dañados o secos.
También provee una variedad de temperaturas entre Lo (Baja) y HI (Alta)
para texturas normales y grosor del cabello.
PARA UN RAPIDO CALENTAMIENTO, encienda el control de temperatura
a la posición Alta (HI). (Para un óptimo resultado del peinado, deje que el
peine se caliente por lo menos 2-3 minutos antes de usarse.) Luego,
seleccione una temperatura de acuerdo al tipo de cabello que tiene.
HAGA UNA PRUEBA EN UNA PEQUEÑA SECCION DEL CABELLO ANTES
DE USARLO; LUEGO SELECCIONE LA TEMPERATURA DE ACUERDO A SUS
NECESIDADES.
ALTA (21-30): Estas temperaturas son muy calientes. Uselas si el cabello
es muy grueso, abundante, resistente, pero en buenas condiciones.
MEDIANA/ALTA (16-20): Use las temperaturas en este orden para
cabellos abundantes, difíciles de rizar en buenas conditiones.
MEDIANA (13-15): Use las temperaturas en este orden para cabellos
gruesos, ondulados y en buenas condiciones.
BAJA/MEDIANA (7-12): Use las temperaturas en este orden para
cabellos fáciles de rizar, cabellos normales.
BAJA (1-6): Use las temperaturas Bajas para cabellos muy finos, frágiles
y de color claro.
PRECAUCION: Dada la capacidad de que esta unidad alcance una
temperatura extremadamente caliente, el peine estará muy caliente en la
pocisión alta (HI); por lo cual se recomienda mucho cuidado cuando se
esté usando.
COMO USAR
Este artefacto requiere poco mantenimiento y no tiene piezas que puedan
ser reparadas. No trate de repararlo usted mismo. Si necesita reparación
remítalo a personas calificadas.
PARA LIMPIAR: Desenchufe la unidad y déjela que enfríe. El peine
solamente debe limpiarse cuando esté frío. Use un paño suave,
ligeramente húmedo para limpiar el mango. No deje que penetre agua
u otro líquido al mango del peine.
PARA GUARDAR: Desconecte el artefacto, déjelo enfriar y guárdelo en su
misma caja o en un lugar seco y limpio. Enrolle el cordón suavemente, sin
ajustarlo. Nunca lo envuelva ajustado alrededor de su unidad, esto
podría causar que se gaste prematuramente y rompa. No ponga presión
al cordón donde éste entra al mango, ya que esto podría causar el
desgaste del cordón y su posible rotura. Nunca cuelgue la unidad por
el cordón.
