The Ka indicator will illuminate coupled with the flashing of the first red signal strength LED.

During an alert, press this button to Mute the audio for that specific signal. (see page 0). 10. Power Jack: Plug the modular end of the power cord into this jack. The detector operates on 12v DC (negative ground only). 11. Radar Antenna and Laser Lens: The rear panel of your detector should have a clear view of the road ahead.

To mute the audio for a single alert, briefly press the VOLUME/MUTE button during that alert. After that radar signal has passed, the mute will automatically reset and the audio level will alert you to the next signal at the volume you have set.

Depress the adjustment button on the top of unit (by the word BELTRONICS) and slide the QuickMount bracket into the slot until it is locked into the position which best fits the angle of your windshield (there are four settings available). For extreme horizontal or sloped windshields, the QuickMount bracket can be bent.

These “heated windshields” reflect radar signals and make any dash, visor or windshield mounted detector ineffective. 3.
