The Impact Alert (IA)

The vehicle throttle will be
reduced; the engine retarder
engaged; and up to one-third of
the vehicle’s braking capacity will
be applied.
The cruise control feature cancels
after the event.

front of your
vehicle and
speeds away.

driver, depending
on the exact system
configuration that
has been set for the
vehicle, and how close
the vehicle cuts in
