• On the Device Setup page, the configuration steps are:
• Change any port that is set to the same COM port as the
ZAON to either “BlueTooth” or a different COM port or
“None” as it cannot use the same COM port as the
ZAON.
• On the Traffic row, set Port to “COM 1” or “COM 2”.
• On the Traffic row, set Type to “ZAON Traffic”.
When finished the traffic device on the Device Setup page should be
configured as shown in one of the figures below.

• Tap on the SAVE & EXIT soft key to save changes.
Use the
Single RS 232 Serial Cable (PN 005-03702-1017) or Dual
RS232 Serial Cable (PN 005-03702-1027) available at
588Hhttp://www.bendixking.com to connect the Zaon XRX to the mini
USB/serial port on the AV8OR.
ZAON XRX - BLUETOOTH SETUP
The Zaon XRX requires an optional Bluetooth module to synchronize
with other Bluetooth devices. The AV8OR ACE supports a Bluetooth
connection to the Zaon XRX after the optional module has been
installed on the Zaon XRX. Refer to the User’s manual for the Zaon
XRX Bluetooth module for details on how to connect to the Zaon
XRX.
