Group 59 Anti-Lock Brake System (Bendix) Troubleshooting
To view diagnostic messages for the ABS, perform the
following:
1 Stop the engine.
2 Turn the ignition key to ON.
3 Press the MODE button on the vehicle dash until
the message “Diagnostics Menu” is displayed.

4 Press the SET button to have the datalink retrieve
data.

5 Press the down arrow, then wait until a new mes-
sage is displayed.
6 Repeat Step 5 until the ’Brakes’ display appears.

7 If a fault message appears, confirm the malfunction
as suggested by the message and repair the fault
using appropriate corrective action.
