DISASSEMBLY
BRAKE SHOES
Bendix offers linings, shoes and lined shoes in several
application specifi c formulations/combinations. Bendix
®
lined brake shoes are available as service new and
remanufactured. Service new (bare) brake shoes are also
available. Please consult BW7224 for available friction
formulations.
WHEEL CYLINDER DISASSEMBLY
Before proceeding, clean the exterior of the wheel cylinder
and make sure the work area, tools, and hands are clean.
Place a clean sheet of paper on the work bench surface.
1. Clamp the wheel cylinder unit in a bench vise with
padded jaws.
