This license is obtained by filing FCC Form 404. The KT 76 or KT 78 may be operated for up to 30 days without a station license, after filing the FCC Form 404 and while awaiting the receipt 0f the station license, providing a copy of the I•'CC Form 404 is kept in the aircraft.

Cable harnesses will be fabricated by the installing agency to fit these various requirements. This section contains interconnect diagrams, mounting dimensions and information pertaining to installation. 2.2 UNPACKING AND INSPECTING ·EQUIPMENT Exercise extreme care when unpacking the equipment.

Assembly of the connector is as follows: A. Contact Terminal Assembly Using Molex Crimper (Figure 2-2) 1.

After the contact terminals have been installed on the wi ring harness, the contact terminals can be inserted into the desired location in the connector housing. The terminal cannot be inserted up-side-down. Right side up it slides into place effortlessly. Be sure to push ·the terminal all the way in, until a click can be felt, heard, or seen (through the translucent -housing). 2.

Where pr·actical, plan the antenna location to keep cable length as short as possible avoiding sharp bends in the cable. However, it is recommended that the separation between DME and transponder antennas be at least six feet. 0 0 5.
