- Password : Define your password
- Authentication : You can select Normal or
Secure authentication.
- Gateway : A valid IP address (12 digits
required, if your connection gateway is less
than 12 digits, fill in extra numbers with 0)
- Port : 0...4 digits. This is the number that is
assigned for your user sessions.
- Homepage : A valid internet address that can
be used as homepage.
• New connection with data call as bearer : Name the
connection, edit the following data fields and
press
. Save :
- Bearer : Data call or GPRS. When new con-
nection as data call is selected, data call is
the default value for bearer.
- Dial-up number : Key in the dial-up number
for your connection.
- User name : Define your user name.
- Password : Define your password.
- Authentication : You can select Normal or
Secure authentication.

14400bps .
To delete or edit a connection shown in the list,
highlight it, press
" and select the desired op-
tion. Confirm deletion by pressing
. Yes .
GPRS settings
• GPRS attach : You can select, whether the
phone establishes automatically the GPRS
connection or only upon a demand.
• Access point : You can key in the access point
name. Press
. Save .
Data call settings
Auto disconnect : You can define a timeout period
after which the data call automatically ends if no
data has been transferred.
