SOUND PROFILES
You can create, edit, delete and activate sound
profiles. A sound profile is a combination of tone
settings made suitable for particular situations.
There are also several preset fixed profiles that
you can use as such or edit as you like. Highlight
an option and press
" to select it.
Editing a sound profile
To edit an existing profile, highlight it and press

Name
: You can rename a profile if you have
created it. You cannot rename preset fixed
profiles.
Incoming call

: You can set
tone (melody), volume level and mode
(ascending/normal/beep first) for incoming
call, alarm clock and calendar alarm sepa

rately. You can listen samples of tones by
pressing

. To test the volume level,

Messages

Telematic messages
: You can select
tone (melody) and adjust volume level for
messages and telematic messages separately.
Vibration
: You can select whether you wish to
use vibration or not.
Key tones

Notifications
: You can adjust volume
level for key tones and notifications sepa

rately. After adjusting the level you will hear a
sample of the new tone level.
Missed events
: You can set time interval and
volume level for missed events. For example,
interval set for 5 minutes means that the
phone will beep in every 5 minutes to inform
you of a missed event until you check it. A
missed event can be e.g. a call or message
that you have received. The interval can also
be set off.
Alerting groups
: You can select
All calls
,
Selected calls
or
No calls
to be put through.
- Selected calls: The phone will ring only in
case that a call comes from a member of
selected group. You can form several
groups for selected calls, and check the
boxes of allowed callers. Press
. Save to
confirm your choice.
