WAP BROWSER
Press ~ , select WAP browser . To enter the menu
grid while in idle state, you can also press
". In
stand-by mode you can also launch WAP browser
by pressing and holding the alphanumerical key
0 until the browser is launched.
With this application you can browse and down-
load WAP pages, images, applications or sound
files.
To exit the application, press
- Exit .
Connecting network
First make sure that WAP browser and connection
settings are correctly set. For more information,
see
wap settings on page 57 And connection
settings on page 57
. Note that connection setting
depend on your service provider, so you can also
ask for your operator for more information.
While the phone is loading the page, the progress
bar and percentage of the loaded page are shown
on the top row. The text will always be loaded be-
fore images.
When the connection is established, you will see
your homepage if you have set it. If the homep-
age is not set, the page is shown blank.
FOLLOWING LINK IN A PAGE
If the page has links, you can select the one for
viewing. Highlight the desired link and press
.

GOING TO A NEW PAGE
Press ", select Go to URL . Key in the desired URL
address and press
. Go to .
RELOADING CURRENT PAGE
Press " and select Refresh .
SAVING PAGE
Press " and select Save . Then select whether you
wish to save the page as
Bookmark , Page , File or
Shortcut .
If you save the page, key in the filename and
press
. Save . Note that in order to save the
page, there must be sufficient memory and the
page name must be unique. Otherwise the phone
the requests overwriting of the old item.
