Il procedimento di sostituzione è molto semplice (fig. 53):

1) Svitare le due viti “1” di fissaggio del calciolo (cacciavite a croce).

AVVERTENZA: per non danneggiare i calcioli in gomma, spalmare la

punta del cacciavite con vaselina o grasso.

2) Svitare il dado di bloccaggio calcio “2” (chiave esagonale da 13

mm).

3) Sfilare dal tubo guida molla biella il calcio con dado “2”, rondel-

la elastica “3” e piastrino calcio “4” (che riporta stampigliata la

lettera specifica di valore piega) e lo spessore piega “5”.

4) Montare il nuovo set piega. Osservare come tutti i piastrini calcio

presentino una sporgenza più marcata da un lato: rimontarli cor-

rettamente nel calcio, alloggiandoli nella forma appositamente

ricavata nel legno.

The replacement procedure is very easy (fig. 53):

1) Unscrew the two fixing screws “1” from the butt plate (using a

Philipps screwdriver).

WARNING: to avoid tearing the rubber recoil pad, apply a light coat

of vaseline or grease to the shaft of the screwdriver.

2) Unscrew the stock retaining nut “2” (using a 13 mm hexagon

wrench).

3) The stock along with the retaining nut “2”, the lock washer “3”

and the retaining plate “4” (with correct letter stamped on it) and

the stock spacer “5” will now all slide off the recoil spring tube.

4) Now you are ready to install the new drop kit. Note that all the

retaining plates have a larger wing on one side than the other;

therefore they must be properly re-inserted into the stock to fit

into the wooden recess provided for them.
