Settings
In this menu, you can make settings for the WAP servers of three
different network operators, and select the server that you would
like to use when connecting to the Internet.
The first time that you start your phone after inserting a SIM card,
the ISP name of the network operator issuing the SIM card will
appear in this menu's first group of settings. This indicates that
your network operator's WAP server settings will be saved under
the name shown. The phone will activate this group of settings for
use in connecting to the Internet.
1. To edit a particular group of WAP server settings, scroll to the
name of the desired server and press , or press (Option)
and select Edit.
WAP server settings include the fields listed below.
• Home Page: Sets the webpage that the browser will link to
when it is started up. Key in the URL for the webpage that
you would like to use as the homepage
— for example, http:/
/wap.yahoo.com.
• Gateway Address: Enter the IP address used for accessing
the mobile Internet. For example: 10.1.1.1.
• Port Number: Enter the connection port specified by the
network operator
— for example, 9201.
2. To rename a group of server settings, scroll to the name of the
desired server and press (Option), and then select Rename.
