Phone Book in the phone's memory
1. In the standby screen, enter the phone number you wish to store, and
then press (S
S
ave). The display will show the default data fields for
a new contact.
2. In the contact data screen, scroll to the data field that you wish to
edit, and then press (O
O
ption) to bring up a pop-up menu. You
can then use the following options with the contact data:
Edit: Edit the information in the selected field.
In the contact data screen, press or begin entering data to
directly edit the data in the currently selected field.
Change Type: Change the category of the phone number (for
example, from M
M
obile Number to H
H
ome Number). This option can
only be used in the phone number data field.
Add New Field: Adds other data fields for a contact.
Delete Field: Removes the selected data field.
3. After completing the data for the various fields, you must press
in order for the contact's data to be stored in the Phone Book.
If you do not wish to save a modified Phone Book record, press
or (Back) to abort.
Used to select a caller group for the contact.
When there is an incoming call from this contact, the ring tone
assigned to this group will sound and the display will show the
image associated with the group.
To set a ring tone and image for each caller group, go to the
menu Phone Book > Caller Group. See page 84.
