Inbox
1. When new messages are received, you can press to read the
messages in the Inbox. You can also press (B
B
ack) to return to the
standby screen (The icon will appear in the standby screen's
status bar, indicating that there are unread messages) and then enter
the menu M
M
essages > Inbox to read messages.
2. Press to scroll to the message record you would like to view.
Depending on the type of message to read, there are two scenarios:
Reading an SMS/EMS message
Press (O
O
ption), which will present the following choices:
Create: Allows you to write and send a new message.
Delete: Deletes the selected message.
Call: You can use the phone number used to send the message to
call the sender.
Forward: Allows you to edit the content of this message and
forward it to another person.
Save to Phone Book: Saves the phone number of the message's
sender to the Phone Book. For information on how to save, see
page 32, "Adding Contacts to the Phone Book".
Delete All: Deletes all the messages in the inbox.
Press to read the message's content. Then press (O
O
ption) to
display the following options:
Reply: Allows you to write and send a reply message.
Delete: Deletes the message being read.
